About The Wellness Drip
What is The Wellness Drip?
The Wellness Drip is a cash-pay wellness and aesthetics clinic at 1817 Riverdale St., West Springfield, MA 01089. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 135 reviews. Its services run from ketamine therapy and IV infusions to aesthetic treatments, so medical weight loss is one part of the practice rather than the whole of it. The weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide, and the clinic also offers hormone replacement therapy and anti-aging and wellness services. The clinic lists towns it serves, including Chicopee, Agawam, Westfield and Northampton. It describes a board certified Nurse Practitioner and registered nurses on its team, but it does not name who prescribes. In its own words: "Our GLP-1 Semaglutide and GLP/GIP Tirzepatide programs include weekly injections, clinical oversight, and membership options designed to help you stay consistent beyond the first month."
What does it cost?
The weight loss programs have the most posted prices. The START program, for new clients or anyone without GLP injections from the clinic in the past 12 months, costs $199 for the first month of semaglutide and $299 for the first month of tirzepatide, each with four weekly injections. After that, enrollment in a membership is required. The Core membership is $399 a month for semaglutide and $599 a month for tirzepatide, each listing four weekly injections and one add-on injection. Signature memberships are $699 a month for semaglutide and $799 for tirzepatide, and add sculpt sessions, an IV drip and NAD+ injections. Memberships run three months minimum, then month to month. Single months cost more, though no price is given. The membership lists four weekly injections, but it does not say whether the medication itself is covered by the monthly fee. It does not publish a consultation fee or hormone therapy prices. It takes Health Savings Account and Flexible Savings Account payments and offers CareCredit financing. Insurance is not listed as accepted.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and for that person's name and credentials, since the clinic names no prescriber. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication or whether it is billed on top. Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded. The clinic's own disclaimer says some of its treatments may not have been evaluated or approved by the FDA, so it is worth asking which applies to you. Ask what the required consultation, follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether any visit can be done remotely, since the program is described as in-person. Ask for the membership agreement before paying, and ask how cancellation works after the three-month minimum. You can call (413) 402-6324 to ask these.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person weight loss injections with a membership you can end month to month after three months, and you are comfortable paying cash for it. If you need the prescriber named in writing or want a telehealth option, get those answers before you book.
