What is Guidance Health Now?

Guidance Health Now is a cash-pay medical practice that works mainly by telehealth. Its one office is at 129 East Main Street, East Main Plaza, Suite 3B, Room 1, in Webster, MA 01570, inside Sol Pelvic Physical Therapy. What does it cost?

The Clarity Session is a $50 booking fee for a video visit with a provider. If you move on to a treatment plan, the full $50 is credited toward your Eligibility visit. That visit is listed at $250, and lab and medication costs are not included in it.

Weight loss has several paths. On the out-of-pocket path, you pay the pharmacy directly for the medication and pay $375 every 3 months for clinical management. On the personalized medication path, monthly management fees are $250 to $350 on the standard tier and $275 to $450 on the higher tier, with discounts for prepaying several months. The clinic does not say whether that monthly fee includes the medication. If your insurer requires prior authorization, that fee is $78.

Testosterone therapy is $175 a month, or $525 billed every 3 months, or $1850 paid upfront for the year. Quarterly lab work through Quest Diagnostics is extra. NAD+ is $240 per care cycle, and Vita Complex is $225 per care cycle. Women's hormone pricing has not been set.

In its own words: "We are a cash-pay clinic and do not accept insurance for clinical fees." It accepts HSA and FSA cards for all medical services and names no financing option. It has no contracts or subscriptions, and it says you can cancel anytime.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what your total would be if it does not. Ask whether the drug is brand-name, filled through Lilly Direct or NovoCare, or compounded. Ask who writes and reviews your prescription, and who covers your care when Curtin is unavailable. Ask what the quarterly Quest labs cost compared with your own insurer's labs, and how often they must be repeated.

The clinic does not publish a phone number, so ask how to reach a clinician by phone. Ask what an in-person visit involves, since the practice is mainly telehealth. Ask which peptides are open now, and when women's hormone pricing will be set. Ask how to cancel and whether any fee applies after you submit the form.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a telehealth-first, cash-pay program with one named prescriber, and you are ready to confirm in writing what medication and labs add to the monthly total before you book. It is a weaker fit if you need a published price list and a phone number before you call, or if you need in-office visits at set times.
