What is Cosmetic Laser Solutions MedSpa?
Cosmetic Laser Solutions MedSpa is a medical spa with offices in Stoneham, Wilmington and Attleboro, Massachusetts. Its main work is aesthetic: laser and radiofrequency treatments, microneedling, facials, body contouring and injectables. Of the four services this directory covers, it offers a physician-supervised weight loss program and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). It does not describe peptide therapy as a service. It has a 4.8 rating on Google from 10 reviews.
In its own words: "We are a non-franchise, boutique-style Medical Spa." Its injectables include BOTOX®, Dysport and Xeomin. The weight loss program is described as MD supervised, and the clinic also lists a DNA based weight loss program. For hormone therapy, it says hormones are given as pellets. Dr. Cela Doppelt, MD, is the one prescriber the clinic names, and it says she has over 25 years of experience with women's health issues. The clinic serves patients from towns including Stoneham, Reading, Winchester, Lexington, Melrose, Andover and the Boston North Shore.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. Weight loss, hormone therapy and the injectables are all listed without a figure. The one dollar amount it gives is $20 off your first appointment, and it does not say what that discount covers. Its Membership Club is listed, but the price and cancellation terms are not given.
The clinic also does not say whether it accepts insurance, whether there is a consultation fee, whether a monthly program fee includes medication, or whether it offers telehealth. It does not list office hours.
What should you ask before you book?
The clinic names only Dr. Doppelt as a prescriber, so ask who would review and sign a weight loss or hormone prescription. Ask what the weight loss medication is, since the clinic does not name it, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask whether the program fee includes the medication, and what labs and follow-up visits cost.
For BHRT, it says most patients need a new pellet every four to six months. Ask what each insertion costs and whether the pellets are brand-name or compounded. Norma Cataldo is listed for consultations and device treatments with no credential shown, so ask who does your evaluation. Ask what the DNA based program involves and whether it costs extra. Finally, ask how the Membership Club bills, how you cancel it, and which of the offices you would be booked into.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments along with a physician-supervised weight loss or BHRT program, and you are ready to ask who prescribes and what each step costs before you commit. It is less likely to suit you if you want peptide therapy, which the clinic does not describe, or if you need published prices before you call.
