What is Elite Luxe Aesthetics?
Elite Luxe Aesthetics is a medical spa at 2777 Acushnet Ave, Suite 1, New Bedford, MA 02745. The phone number is 774-644-1455. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a rating of 5 from 32 reviews. Most of what it offers is aesthetic work: anti-wrinkle injections, fillers, skin treatments including The Perfect Derma Peel and the Pro Clinical Peel, and IV hydration therapy. Medical weight management is one of its services too. It does not provide regular facials or skincare products.
The weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide, both injectable medications. The clinic describes the steps as an in-person consultation with lab work, approval or disapproval by its medical director, a visit with a registered nurse to show you can inject yourself, and then monthly weigh-ins with that nurse. Tanisha Galus, R.N., is the only clinician the clinic names. It refers to a medical director who reviews each candidate and orders the prescription, but it does not name that person. Hours are by appointment only: Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 2:30pm, with Sunday and Monday closed.
What does it cost?
The clinic does not publish prices, for the weight loss program or anything else, and it gives no consultation fee. It does not say whether the medication is included in any price, or whether it accepts insurance. The payment methods it lists are Cherry Payment Plans, cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, Cash App, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and JCB. Cherry Payment Plans is listed as its own option, but the clinic does not describe its terms.
On length, in its own words: "This process will be maintained until you successfully reach weight loss goal." It does not say what the program costs each month or what it costs to stop.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription and who the medical director is, since the clinic names only the nurse. Ask whether the monthly cost includes the medication, and whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the consultation, lab work and follow-up visits cost, and whether any of them are billed separately.
Ask whether telehealth visits are available, and whether the clinic takes insurance or an HSA. Ask how cancellation works and whether it carries a fee. The program also lists conditions that rule someone out, including a history of pancreatitis, a history of gallbladder disease, and a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer. Ask how the clinic checks your history against that list before you pay for a consultation.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want injectable weight management inside a medical spa, you can pay the full cost yourself, and you meet the program's stated criteria of a BMI of 27 with comorbidities or a BMI greater than 30. If you are mainly after injectables, fillers or peels, the clinic offers those too, and the questions above still apply.
