About Moi Health and Wellness

What is Moi Health and Wellness?

Moi Health and Wellness is a cash-pay clinic with offices in Marshfield and Lakeville, Massachusetts. Christine Murphy, NP, is its owner and the prescriber named for the practice. She has been a Nurse Practitioner for 21 years and a Registered Nurse since 1995. The clinic's main medical programs are medical weight loss and men's hormone therapy. It also offers peptide therapy, regenerative medicine, IV and vitamin therapy, aesthetic treatments, and salt therapy.

The weight loss program uses semaglutide, tirzepatide, and phentermine. Brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound programs are available, along with compounded options. Ongoing follow-up can be done by televisit or in person, and the at-home program ships medication to your door after the first consultation. Its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 38 reviews, under the category Weight loss service.

This listing is for its Marshfield office at 1 Snow Rd, Second Floor.

What does it cost?

The men's hormone initial consult is $270 and includes a Nurse Practitioner consultation and lab work. Ongoing therapy is $150 for patients prescribed controlled-substance testosterone, and this fee includes 4 injections and Nurse Practitioner oversight. It does not say whether the testosterone itself is covered by that fee.

For weight loss, a new patient visit is $100 for 45 minutes, in office or by televisit. Follow-up visits are $50 for 15 minutes. Phentermine's initial visit is $225 and its follow-up is $160. It does not publish what the medications themselves cost. Peptide consultations are $150, and regenerative medicine consultations are $100.

The clinic does not take insurance. It does accept HSA and FSA funds for weight loss medications. Financing is not mentioned. The only membership term it lists is a charge for missed or late cancellations: "If you do not keep this appointment or cancel within 72 hours, there is a $50 charge."

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes and signs each prescription, and whether a physician is involved in your care. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, because the price of semaglutide, tirzepatide, and phentermine is not published.

Ask whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. In its own words: "We offer both brand-name medications and custom compounded options, giving you flexibility based on your needs, side-effect tolerance, and desired pace of weight loss." Ask which pharmacy makes the compounded version and what it costs compared with the brand.

For hormone therapy, ask whether the $150 ongoing fee includes the testosterone. Ask what lab work and follow-up cost after the first visit, since blood work and review are scheduled every three to four months and are not priced.

Ask for the full cancellation policy, and whether the 72 hour rule applies to televisits. Ask whether at-home programs serve your town, because the towns served are not published. Confirm the office day and hours before you book.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a Nurse Practitioner to run a cash-pay weight loss or men's hormone program, you can pay with HSA or FSA funds or your own money, and you are willing to get the medication prices in writing before you book.
