What is StarBella Spa?

Most of what it offers is aesthetic work: EMSculpt body contouring, Ultraformer skin tightening, facials and HydraFacials, wrinkle treatments, dermal and lip fillers, Sculptra, laser and waxing hair removal, and lash and brow enhancement. It also offers massage, IV vitamin therapy, sclerotherapy for spider and varicose veins, and two medical services you may be looking for: weight loss injections and testosterone replacement therapy. Weight loss is one service among many, not the core of the practice.

The weight loss program is billed as NP-supervised. It names semaglutide and tirzepatide, along with the brand names Wegovy, Ozempic and Mounjaro, and its weight loss pages describe compounded versions of both drugs. What does it cost?

StarBella does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone therapy. Its FAQ says pricing depends on the personalized plan and is shared at the free consultation. In its own words: "Yes, the initial consultation is completely free, with no obligation to commit."

Weight loss membership comes in two tiers, Core and the tier the clinic calls "Premium," and neither has a published price. Core includes weekly in-office or at-home injections, regular check-ins, and 10% off vitamins, IVs and body contouring. The higher tier adds higher-dose injections, complimentary Vitamin B12 injections, and 20% off IV therapy and body contouring. StarBella does not say whether medication is included in either tier, and it gives no cancellation or commitment terms. It does not accept insurance, so everything is cash pay. It says it may offer payment plans, and it does not mention HSA use or financing.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription and what license they hold. Since no prescriber is named and the program is billed as NP-supervised, ask which nurse practitioner is involved and who supervises that role. The clinic also claims over 7 years of medical experience without saying who has it, so ask who that refers to.

Ask whether you would receive brand-name Wegovy, Ozempic or Mounjaro, or a compounded version of semaglutide or tirzepatide. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what the weekly visits, check-ins and any lab work cost on top of it. Ask which dose you would start on and who chooses it.

Ask whether telehealth is offered, whether at-home shots require an in-person visit first, and what the office hours are, since none are listed. Finally, ask how a membership is cancelled and whether there is a minimum term.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want weight loss or hormone therapy at a place that also offers facials, body contouring and lash work, you are paying cash, and you are comfortable getting the prescriber, price and cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need a named prescriber and a published price before you commit, get those answers first.
