About Drip Med Spa

What is Drip Med Spa?

Drip Med Spa is a med spa and IV hydration practice at 10995 Owings Mills Blvd, Suite 112, Owings Mills, MD 21117, in Baltimore County. The phone number is (443) 660-9734. It is open Monday to Friday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM, Saturday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, and Sunday by appointment only.

The practice mainly offers cosmetic and wellness treatment. Its services are aesthetics (fillers, Neurotoxin, Sculptra, HydraFacial, microneedling and Obagi, among others), HRT, IV therapy, booster shots and weight loss. The weight loss program and the hormone therapy both depend on prescribed medication, so those are the two to check closely.

Two people are named as prescribers: Mary Tatar, BSN, RN, whose title is registered nurse injector, and Suzanne Cerrone, with no credential shown beside her name. Care is supervised by a Medical Director, but that person is not named. The weight loss program is built on semaglutide, the active ingredient in the brand-name medications Ozempic® and Wegovy®. It is offered in person in Owings Mills and by telehealth for Maryland residents. HRT is offered in person or online.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices. No weight loss price, monthly fee, consultation fee or hormone therapy price is listed anywhere on the practice's website.

The weight loss program is sold as a monthly membership. In its own words: "Drip Med Spa’s weight loss program is a monthly subscription that covers absolutely everything you will need." The program description also says the cost of the medication is included in the monthly membership and that there are no hidden fees. Insurance is not accepted for this program, so expect to pay the full cost yourself. Ask for the monthly figure before you book.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the semaglutide prescription, what that person's credentials are, and whether you will see the same person at follow-up visits. Ask whether the medication is one of the brand-name products or a compounded version.

Ask what the monthly fee is in dollars and what it covers beyond the medication, such as telehealth sessions, lab work and follow-up visits. Ask whether there is a consultation fee and what labs cost. Ask how long the membership commitment lasts and how to cancel, and get the answer in writing.

Booking runs through an outside site that says your card will not be charged until services are complete. Ask what, if anything, is taken at booking and whether it is refundable. For hormone therapy, ask what the consultation and ongoing monitoring cost and who orders the labs.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in Maryland, want a cash-pay weight loss program with a monthly membership, and are willing to get the prescriber, the fee and the cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need a named physician up front or prices you can compare before booking, ask those questions first.
