About Adora Aesthetics

What is Adora Aesthetics?

Adora Aesthetics is a medical spa with offices in Clarksville and Lutherville, Maryland. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau, dermal fillers, Kybella, microneedling, laser hair removal, facials and chemical peels. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a 4.9 rating from 533 reviews.

Alongside the cosmetic work, Adora offers three medical programs: medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone and testosterone replacement therapy, and peptide therapy. Adora names Maryland Integrative Medicine as its partner for all three, but it does not say which practice delivers the medical care. For weight loss, Adora offers this description: "We specialize in advanced GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist therapies, including some of the most effective medications available for weight management today." It also offers oral options for patients who prefer not to use injections. The peptides it names are BPC-157, Thymosin Alpha-1, Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-500), CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin, Melanotan II and MOTS-c / NAD+.

Heather Zade, BSN, CRNP, MSN, NP, is the founder and CEO, and she is the one person listed as a prescriber. Adora does not say which of its programs she prescribes for. She has over 16 years of experience as an aesthetic injector.

This listing is for its Lutherville office at 2324 W Joppa Rd Suite #510.

What does it cost?

Adora does not publish prices for weight loss, hormone or peptide care. It does not say whether medication is included in any fee, whether it accepts insurance, or what a consultation costs. Its cosmetic prices are listed. Kybella starts at $675, a biostimulating liquid facelift starts at $1400, and neurotoxin is $10 to $14 per injection area. IV memberships run from $199 a month (Core Vitality) to $599 a month (Elite Optimization), with Prime Performance at $379 a month in between. Adora mentions payment plans but does not describe their terms, and it does not say how a membership is cancelled.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription for each program. Heather is the only prescriber named, and Adora notes a 6 month waitlist to see her as a new patient. Ask whether you would see her or another prescriber, and whether that prescriber is part of Adora or Maryland Integrative Medicine.

Ask whether a monthly fee includes the medication, and whether the drug is brand-name or compounded. For the peptides, ask where each compound is made and which, if any, would be prescribed for you. Ask whether follow-up can be done by telehealth, since Adora does not address it.

Ask what the first consultation costs, what follow-up visits and lab work add to the total, and whether insurance is accepted. Ask how a membership is cancelled and what the office hours are, since none are listed.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want cosmetic treatments and medical programs from one clinic and are ready to pay cash for them. If you need to know the prescriber, the prices or the insurance answer before you commit, get those in writing before you book.
