About InVein Aesthetics
What is InVein Aesthetics?
InVein Aesthetics is a med spa at 1200 Steuart St, Suite C2, Baltimore, MD 21230, near Harbor East and the Inner Harbor. Most of its menu is aesthetic work, including laser hair removal, chemical peels, facials and dermal filler. It also offers IV drips, vitamin shots and hyperbaric oxygen. Two of its services fit this directory: medical weight loss, which it calls SculptRx Medical Weight Loss, and peptide therapy. It lists no hormone therapy.
Shawnta Cazeau is the only person named as prescribing, and her listed title is Nurse Injector. The weight loss material mentions licensed providers and physicians, but it names no physician. Its Google rating is 4.9, from 165 reviews.
The weight loss plans use weekly GLP-1 injections. The one medication it names is Retatrutide, which it sells as a peptide injection. In its own words: "Our medical weight loss program includes the use of a GLP-1 therapy".
What does it cost?
The weight loss consultation is $75.00. The one-month SculptRx plan is $168.75 and includes four weekly GLP-1 injections and one medical consultation, so the medication is part of that price. The three-month plan is $156.25 and includes twelve injections, two B12 shots and monthly consultations. The clinic does not say whether that figure is per month or for the full 90 days. Retatrutide on its own is $247.50 per injection after a package is bought. A separate figure of $675.00 for one month of medication does not match the $168.75 plan.
Weight loss follow-up visits are listed at $0 and last 45 minutes. A "Treat now, pay later" option offers 0% APR options subject to eligibility, with approvals up to $50,000. The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance. It does not publish lab fees, membership terms or a cancellation policy.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who the physician is. Plans are described as guided by physicians, but Shawnta Cazeau is the only prescriber named. Ask who writes your prescription and what credentials that person holds.
Ask whether the Retatrutide and GLP-1 medications are brand-name or compounded, and where they come from. The clinic calls Retatrutide a peptide and does not say more.
Ask which one-month price is current, $168.75 or $675.00. Ask whether labs and follow-up visits are included, and what labs cost if they are not. Ask whether the three-month price is per month, and how cancellation and refunds work for packages and memberships. Ask whether insurance is accepted, and whether telehealth visits or set hours are available, since neither is listed.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss or peptide injections in Baltimore, you are comfortable with a nurse injector as the named prescriber, and you can get the price and cancellation terms confirmed in writing before you pay. If you need a physician named on your prescription, or you are looking for hormone therapy, it may not match what this clinic offers.
