About Telehealth Maine & Hermon Health & Wellness

What is Telehealth Maine & Hermon Health & Wellness?

Telehealth Maine & Hermon Health & Wellness is a clinic at 2423 US-2 in Hermon, Maine. It offers both virtual and in-person visits. Its two prescribers are nurse practitioners, Lindsay Norton, FNP and Lauren Jellison, FNP. Services include medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, urgent care, primary care bridge services, IV hydration and vitamin injections, aesthetics, InBody scans, and a firefighter health and exposure program that Lauren Jellison, FNP leads. Its weight loss services name GLP-1, GLP/GIP, phentermine, topiramate, naltrexone and bupropion among its options. It has a Google rating of 5 from 5 reviews. It does not say how long it has been open.

What does it cost?

The first medical weight loss visit is $199, which includes the enrollment fee. Follow-up visits are $99 each, or $79 a month on membership. There are no contracts, and you can cancel anytime. Medication is a separate cost, so the monthly fee does not include the drug. Hormone & Vitality is $299 and covers your first two appointments. Lab draws on an outside order cost a $25 draw fee, and Quest bills insurance directly. The clinic accepts credit or debit, cash, check, and HSA or FSA, and it will provide a superbill. In its own words: "Our model is transparent and flexible, with straightforward self-pay pricing and no long-term contracts or unnecessary barriers."

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs your prescription and who you will see at each visit. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. The weight loss program describes compounded GLP-1 versions, and it does not say whether semaglutide or tirzepatide is offered by name. Ask whether the membership or visit fee includes any medication, and what that medication costs each month. Ask which lipotropic price applies, since the clinic's pricing shows both $15 to $30 and $25 for non-members.

Ask how often you will be seen, and what labs and follow-up cost over a full course of treatment. Ask whether insurance is accepted for visits, and whether telehealth is open to patients where you live. Ask how cancellation works, and get the no-contract terms in writing. Office hours run on weekdays only, so ask about any other times you need.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you expect to pay for visits and medication yourself, want weight loss, hormone and urgent care from one Maine practice, and will ask for written answers on the prescriber, the medication type and cancellation before you book. It may not suit you if you need weekend or evening appointments, or if you need insurance to cover the visit itself.
