What is BProactive Health Wellness Center?
BProactive Health Wellness Center is a cash-pay clinic at 2 Admiral Fitch Ave in Brunswick, ME 04011. It calls itself a medical based wellness center. Its services run from lab testing and metabolic assessment to red light therapy, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, IV therapy, and a cancer risk assessment. Weight loss, hormone therapy, and peptide therapy are the medically guided programs, so those are where prescriptions come in. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and it says it is open after hours and on Saturday upon request. Its weight loss plans include telehealth or in-person provider visits. It has one Google review so far, rated 5 stars.
The clinic does not name the physician or provider who prescribes. In its own words: "All our providers are peptide and cellular medicine certified by SSRP Institute."
What does it cost?
Weight loss has two tiers. The non-compounding program is $99 a month for 6 to 12 months and includes an initial provider consultation, monthly follow-ups in person or virtual, and a body composition test. Compounded semaglutide, listed under the Wegovy name, is $349 a month. Compounded tirzepatide, listed under the Zepbound name, is $449 a month. It does not say whether those monthly prices include the medication.
Traditional hormone replacement is $149 a month for men and women. It includes an initial provider evaluation, quarterly labs, and a monthly supply of hormone replacement. Bioidentical pellet therapy is marked coming soon with no price yet.
Peptide therapy is $369 a month for one focus area and $599 a month for two focus areas. More than two needs a custom quote.
Memberships run $149 a month (BWell 8), $199 (BWell 12), and $269 (BWell 20), each including red light, infrared sauna, and cryotherapy sessions. The BElite add-on is $59 a month and BOptimal is $159 a month. Annual billing takes an extra 5% off. A single one-hour Wellness Trio session is $89. Combining the weight loss program with a metabolic membership brings 10% off the total.
It does not publish a separate consultation fee. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, HSA, or financing, and it does not describe how memberships are cancelled.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask for the names and credentials of the people who would write your prescriptions, and whether they would see you in person or only by telehealth. Ask whether the $349 or $449 monthly price includes the medication, and whether that medication is compounded or the brand-name product. For the peptides, ask which are approved medicines and which are compounded preparations. Retatrutide is among the named options, so ask its status and where it comes from.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask how a monthly program or membership is cancelled, whether there is a minimum term, and whether any part of the cost can go through insurance or an HSA.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you plan to pay cash for a medically guided weight, hormone, or peptide program and want the prescriber's name, medication details, and cancellation terms in writing before you pay. It is less suited to someone who needs insurance billing or wants a named prescriber before making a call.
