What is MK Aesthetics?

Kaitlynn Knebel, RN, and Marinda Beasley, NP, founded the practice and are the two prescribers it names. Most of its menu is aesthetic: neurotoxins such as Botox, Xeomin and Dysport, fillers, facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser hair and tattoo work, skin tightening and RF treatments. Medical weight loss and hormone replacement therapy are the two services that involve prescription medication.
The weight loss program uses GLP-1 medications, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, which the practice names as Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro. It starts with a consultation and health review, then a customized treatment plan, regular check-ins and lifestyle guidance.
Hormone therapy uses Evexias bioidentical pellets, placed just beneath the skin in the office after lab testing. The pellets dissolve over three to six months.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone therapy, and it does not say whether medication is included in any price. No fee is stated for a medical consultation. The consultations it calls complimentary are its aesthetic and laser consultations. In its own words: "At MK Aesthetics, we offer complimentary aesthetic and laser consultations so you can explore your options without pressure."
It names financing options but does not publish their terms. It does not say whether it accepts insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and who supervises it. The hormone program is described as physician-supervised, but no physician is named, and the prescribers it names are an RN and an NP.
Ask whether any program fee includes the medication, and whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded. Because the pellets are custom-compounded, ask which pharmacy makes them.
Ask what the lab panel, follow-up labs and check-ins cost, whether telehealth follow-up is available since it does not say, and how cancellation works.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and a medical weight loss or hormone program in one Nicholasville office, and you are willing to ask about price and prescribing before you book. It is less of a fit if you need a published price list before you call.
