About Figure Weight Loss
What is Figure Weight Loss?
Figure Weight Loss is a physician-led medical weight loss practice at 157 Barnwood Dr in Edgewood, Kentucky. It says it has been in practice for over 25 years. Dr. Greg Weckenbrock and Dr. Adam Crawford are the two people the practice names as prescribers, and it says its physicians and providers are board-certified.
Weight loss is its main work. It offers GLP-1 treatment with Wegovy, Saxenda or compounded semaglutide, oral appetite medications such as phentermine, hormone replacement therapy, vitamin B12 injections, supplements, and visits with registered dietitian nutritionists. It does not list peptide therapy or longevity medicine.
Patients can be seen in person in Edgewood or by telehealth if they are eligible in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan or Tennessee. Telehealth starts with a text from staff confirming eligibility, then registration through a patient portal, then a visit with a licensed medical provider. In-person visits include evening and Saturday availability, but no opening hours are published. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 1876 reviews.
What does it cost?
GLP-1 treatment plans start at $95 a month, and the practice does not say whether medication is included in that price. A consultation is $99 per visit. Its FAQ gives an average of $99 to $109 for an in-person patient, including oral medication and the office visit. For telehealth, the visit fee is $99, and medication is filled at the patient's own pharmacy, where controlled medications typically cost about $10 to $15.
In its own words: "There are no expensive start-up fees, no subscription fees, and no long-term contracts." Care is provided visit by visit, and you pay as you go. The practice says there are no automatic renewals or required memberships. It accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, and says FSA and HSA are accepted. Afterpay may be available at checkout. It asks patients to check their own coverage for brand-name injections, but it does not say whether it bills insurance. It does not publish hormone therapy prices. Active and retired military personnel and their spouses get $10 off with a military ID.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether the $95 monthly price includes medication, and what the medication costs if it does not.
Ask which GLP-1 your plan would use, Wegovy, Saxenda or compounded semaglutide, and how each one is filled and priced.
Ask who prescribes hormone therapy, since no prescriber is named for it.
Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost, and whether either is included in the plan price.
Ask whether you will be asked to prepay several months of medication. The practice's own blog cautions that prepaid bulk programs can limit a provider's ability to adjust dosing, so ask how dose changes would work.
Ask how you cancel or pause a plan, whether the clinic bills insurance, and what its office hours are, and get the answers in writing.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a physician-led clinic with in-person or video visits, you can pay out of pocket or with an HSA or FSA, and you want the medication price in writing before you book. If you need hormone therapy pricing or insurance billing, call first.
