What is Elevation Aesthetics & Wellness?

Elevation Aesthetics & Wellness is a medical spa at 520 S Holland, suite 201, in Wichita, Kansas. Its phone number is (316) 272-6358. Aesthetic injectables come first on its menu, including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Juvederm and Restylane. It lists four services in all: Botox and fillers, medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and wellness, which covers energy shots and immune support therapies. Jennifer Frerichs, APRN, founded the practice and is its prescriber. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 11 years of experience as an aesthetics provider and 28 years of nursing experience.

The medical weight loss program names semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide. The hormone program covers testosterone evaluation and treatment when medically appropriate, estrogen and progesterone therapy, and thyroid evaluation. In its own words: "Hormone health is personal, and your treatment should be, too." The clinic does not list peptide therapy or longevity medicine. The office is open Monday 8am to 11:30am, Tuesday through Thursday 5:30pm to 7pm, Friday noon to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 2pm. It is closed Sunday. Google lists it as a medical spa with a rating of 5 from 26 reviews.

What does it cost?

The initial hormone consultation is $250. Lab fees are not included in that price. The first follow-up, about four weeks after treatment starts, is complimentary. Later hormone visits are about $80 each and are generally scheduled every three months. Additional lab tests and medications are not part of that visit fee.

Weight loss medications are listed as "starting at" $150 for semaglutide, $320 for tirzepatide and $430 for retatrutide. The clinic does not say whether those amounts are weekly or monthly, and it does not say whether the medication is included. A lipo injection is $35 and a B12 injection is $25. The weight loss program requires a three-month commitment and offers a complimentary consultation.

The clinic does not say it bills insurance. It offers financing through Cherry, with plans of 3 to 60 months at 0% APR. Aesthetic memberships start at $99 a month. All memberships require a minimum 90-day commitment, followed by 30 days of written notice to cancel.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the weight loss prices are per week or per month, and whether they include the medication. Ask whether each medication is brand-name or compounded, and who supplies it. Ask who writes and renews the prescriptions, and how often you will see that person. Ask what the labs will cost in total, since they are billed on top of the consultation and visit fees.

Ask whether any visits can be done by video. The clinic does not say. Ask what happens to the three-month weight loss commitment if you stop early, and whether you can cancel a membership once the 90 days have passed.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want aesthetic injectables and hormone or weight loss care in one office, and you are ready for a three-month commitment and a cash budget that covers lab work. It is less likely to fit if you need peptide therapy, longevity medicine or insurance billing.
