What is Azalea Med Spa?

What does it cost?
Azalea does not publish prices for the weight loss program or the GLP-1 medications. It does not say whether medication is included in any program fee, or whether it accepts insurance.
The only prices listed are for its VIP membership: 20% off all treatments and products for $580 a month, 15% off for $350 a month, or 10% off for $199 a month. The membership is about savings on treatments and products and does not mention the weight loss program. There is no initiation fee, and members can pause or upgrade at any time.
A complimentary consultation with one of its specialists is offered, and a first visit comes with a $50 gift card. It does not say whether a weight loss consultation falls under either offer.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. Ask for the name and credentials of the person who evaluates you and signs any prescription, and whether you will meet that person before a prescription is written.
Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication or whether it is billed separately. Ask whether Semaglutide or Tirzepatide is the brand-name product or a compounded version, and which pharmacy fills it.
Ask what the lab work, body composition tracking and follow-up visits cost, and whether any of them can be skipped. Ask what virtual visits include, since Azalea offers them without saying what they cover. Ask whether insurance is accepted, and whether HSA cards or financing work.
Finally, ask how the program is cancelled, whether there is a minimum commitment, and what happens to any medication you have not used if you stop.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a Lenexa med spa that also runs a GLP-1 program, you are comfortable paying cash, and you will get the prescriber's name and the full monthly cost in writing before you book. If you are looking for hormone therapy, peptide therapy or longevity care, its listed services do not include them.
