About Advanced Weight Loss Derby
What is Advanced Weight Loss Derby?
Advanced Weight Loss Derby is a cash-pay clinic at 320 N Rock Rd Suite 200 in Derby, Kansas. Weight loss is the core of the practice, with hormone and peptide care alongside it. The clinic lists six services: medical weight loss, testosterone optimization, peptides, men's health, IV infusion, and Botox and fillers.
The weight loss program names semaglutide (Wegovy or Ozempic), tirzepatide (Mounjaro or Zepbound) and phentermine. Its professionals are described as having over 30 years of experience in the medical arts, and its team includes RN, APRN and counselors. It does not name the person who writes prescriptions. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 9 reviews.
What does it cost?
The first consultation is free. In its own words: "Most consultations are 30 minutes or less and again are free."
Peptides are the only services with published prices, and all are monthly except PT-141. AOD-9604 is $300 a month by injection or $200 a month as a daily oral troche. BPC-157 and CJC1295/Ipamorelin are $300 a month by injection. MK677 Ibutamoren is $300 a month orally. NAD+ is $400 a month by injection. Melanotan II is $200 a month by injection or $250 a month orally. PT-141 is $200 a vial, which lasts 1-4 months. It does not say whether medication is included in any of these prices.
Prices for weight loss medication, testosterone care, men's health, IV infusion, and Botox and fillers are not published. A pricing table lists $99, $125 and $189 per session, but it does not say which service those cover. Insurance acceptance is not stated, and it does not describe HSA or financing terms beyond a general mention of payment options.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who writes the prescription and what that person's credentials are, since the clinic names its RN, APRN and counselor staff but not its prescriber. Ask whether the monthly weight loss fee includes the medication, and whether semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded. For the peptides, ask whether the monthly price covers the product, and whether each one is an FDA-approved drug or a compounded preparation, and who makes it. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, since testosterone care starts with a full hormone analysis. Ask whether telehealth is available or whether you must come in, and whether insurance or HSA funds are accepted. Finally, ask how a monthly plan is canceled and whether it has a minimum term.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a free first conversation and are ready to pay cash for weight loss, hormone or peptide care that insurance does not cover. Call first if you need to know who prescribes, or what the medication costs, before you commit.
