What is FFC Beauty?
FFC Beauty is a medical spa at 302 E Trail Ridge Ave Suite 200 in Indianola, IA 50125, and it has been open since 2019. Shawna Freeman, MSN, RN, is the one person named as prescriber. The About Us page describes her as nurse practitioner and medical director. Google lists the business as a medical spa and shows a 4.9 rating from 14 reviews.
Most of what it offers is aesthetic. Laser treatments (BBL and MOXI), injectables (BOTOX Cosmetic, DYSPORT, Juvederm and SKINVIVE), facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, chemical peels and IV infusions make up the main menu. Of the kinds of care people often look for, it lists weight loss, with semaglutide as the medication it names. It does not list hormone therapy or peptide therapy. In its own words: "Our services include laser therapies, injectables, facials, chemical peels, IV infusions and weight loss options."
What does it cost?
The MOXI laser alone is $600, and BBL plus MOXI is $800. A DiamondGlow facial is $130, Dermaplane Pro is $75, and Dermaplane Pro with DiamondGlow is $180. BOTOX Cosmetic is $11 per unit. Microneedling is $300, or $400 with a BioRePeel upgrade. The Meyer's Cocktail IV infusion is $159.
The loyalty membership takes automatic monthly payments of $100 from your bank account, and the money can be used on any product or service. The same section lists 15% off all items. The clinic does not say how these terms combine, and it does not state cancellation terms.
It does not publish a weight loss price or say what semaglutide costs or whether the medication is included. It does not say whether insurance is accepted. It mentions Allē payment plans and financing for Allergan products, which include BOTOX Cosmetic. No consultation fee is stated, and the laser pages offer a complimentary consultation.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which clinician prescribes the semaglutide. Shawna Freeman is the one prescriber named, but the clinic does not say who prescribes for weight loss. Ask whether the weight loss price includes the medication or whether it is billed separately, and whether the semaglutide is brand-name or compounded. Ask what visits, check-ins and lab work cost, and whether any of them are included.
Ask whether insurance is accepted for any of these services. Ask how to cancel the $100 monthly membership and whether any unused balance is refunded. No phone number or hours are published, so ask for both before you plan a visit.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want skin treatments, injectables or an IV from a medical spa with a nurse practitioner as medical director, and you are comfortable paying for them out of pocket. If you are looking for weight loss care with published pricing, or for hormone or peptide therapy, call and get the answers above before you book.
