About The Injection Lounge Aesthetics
What is The Injection Lounge Aesthetics?
The Injection Lounge Aesthetics is a med spa at 2200 NW 152nd ST Suite E in Clive, IA, located inside Culture Collective. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: Botox, Jeuveau, lip and structural fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, and laser photofacial, fractional laser and laser hair removal treatments. Peptide therapy and GLP-1 weight loss treatment are offered alongside them. In its own words: "Specializing in high-quality anti-aging aesthetic injectables and wellness including Botox, Filler, Peptide Therapy, Weight Loss & more."
The owner, Brittany, is a registered nurse and certified nurse injector. Megan Burgmaier, NP, is the medical director and the only prescriber the clinic names. Hours are Monday through Wednesday 9:30 to 6:30, Thursday and Friday 9:30 to 3:30, and closed on weekends. The phone number is 515-745-2814. Google gives the clinic a rating of 5 from 27 reviews and lists it as a medical spa.
What does it cost?
Botox is $12.50 per unit and Jeuveau is $12 per unit. Lip fillers are $700 and structural filler is $850. Microneedling lists two add-ons: hyaluronic acid for $300 and polynucleotides for $400. Chemical peels are $200. It does not publish prices for the laser treatments, peptide therapy or GLP-1 weight loss.
A one-time $25 charge at the first visit covers physician treatment clearance. After that visit, a $25 deposit is applied to treatments.
Cherry is the payment plan the clinic names. Cherry qualifies patients for up to $10,000, does not require a hard credit check, and offers 0% APR options subject to eligibility. It runs a soft credit check, which does not hurt your credit score. Patients must be at least 18 and have a bank-issued debit or credit card. The clinic does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not say whether any price includes medication.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who conducts the consult the clinic requires before GLP-1 treatment, and whether the $25 first-visit charge covers it. Ask whether the GLP-1 medication, semaglutide or tirzepatide, is brand-name or compounded. Ask whether the price you are quoted includes the medication, and what a full month of GLP-1 treatment costs in total. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and how many units a typical Botox visit takes at $12.50 per unit. If you join any program, ask how it is canceled. Ask whether any part of care is done by telehealth, since the clinic does not say. Ask whether it accepts HSA or FSA cards, since it names only Cherry for payment.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want cosmetic injectables, laser or skin treatments and can get prices in writing before you book. It is a weaker match if you need a published price for weight loss or peptide therapy, or if you are looking for hormone therapy, which the clinic does not list.
