About Delia Optimized Care

What is Delia Optimized Care?

Delia Optimized Care is a cash-pay practice at 7172 Graham Rd, Suite 115, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Cynthia Teyou, NP, founded it and is the only prescriber named. Its main focus is hormone, thyroid and metabolic care. In its own words: "we help women feel balanced, confident, and energized again."

It offers hormone replacement therapy, thyroid optimization and medical weight management, plus vitamin injections. The weight loss medications it names are Phentermine, Qsymia, Contrave and GLP-1s. It lists peptide protocols as an advanced therapy offered when medical evaluation supports it, but it names no peptide products and does not list longevity medicine. Follow-ups can be by telehealth or in person. It has a 5 rating on Google from 4 reviews.

What does it cost?

Each program has an initial fee and a monthly fee. Hormone replacement therapy is $250 initial and $125 a month. Weight Loss Management is $150 initial and $75 a month. Thyroid Optimization is $150 initial and $75 a month.

None of the monthly fees include medication. Weight loss medications are billed to you at cost, and the practice does not state what they cost. Hormone medications may go to compounding or retail pharmacies, also at cost. The hormone membership includes labs at 3, 6 and 12 months, and extra labs are billed at cost. Vitamin injections are $35 for D3 and $30 each for B12, Glutathione and LipoStat, with 20% off for active members. A free 10-minute consultation is requested through an inquiry form. The practice is cash pay only, though its FAQ says insurance may be used for lab work and for medications sent to retail pharmacies. It does not publish cancellation terms or peptide prices.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes and signs your prescriptions, and whether Cynthia Teyou, NP, handles all of them. Ask what your weight loss medication will cost each month and which pharmacy fills it. For hormone prescriptions, ask whether the medication is compounded or brand-name, since both pharmacy types are listed.

Ask what labs cost outside the 3, 6 and 12 month schedule, and how often thyroid labs are run, since they are done as needed. If peptides interest you, ask what the evaluation involves and what a protocol costs. Finally, ask how to cancel and whether any minimum term applies, since neither is published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you are a woman in the Indianapolis area looking for ongoing hormone, thyroid or weight management care, and you can pay cash for both the membership and the medication. If you live outside Indiana, ask first, since the practice does not list which states its telehealth covers.
