About Ageless Aesthetics
What is Ageless Aesthetics?
Ageless Aesthetics is a medical spa with offices in northwest Indianapolis, Fishers and Greenwood, Indiana. It says it also serves clients from Zionsville and Carmel. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: Botox, fillers and biostimulators, fat dissolving injections, PDO threads, fractional CO2 laser, laser hair removal, RF microneedling, IPL photofacial, medical grade facials, microneedling, chemical peels and Sofwave skin tightening. Medical weight loss is one service on that list.
The weight loss program's prescriber is Shelley Clayton, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner who founded the practice and works as an aesthetic injector. She has over a decade of experience in healthcare and aesthetic medicine. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 558 reviews, under the category medical spa. In its own words: "Injectables may be nonsurgical, but they are still medical treatments."
The weight loss program starts with a 60-minute in-person office visit covering medical history, a limited physical exam, body measurements and dietary counseling, followed by prescriptions. Monthly check-ins run 30 minutes and can be in person or by video or phone. The program also requires an in-office visit every six months. The medication itself is not named. The program lists "medical weight loss shots."
This listing is for its Greenwood office at 1777 W Stones Crossing Rd Ste 160.
What does it cost?
The medical weight loss program is listed at $499 per month. The clinic also lists a $250 initial consultation, a 60-minute in-person office visit, and a $225 payment every three months for continued services, with optional follow-up visits included. It is not clear whether the $499 fee replaces those charges or adds to them.
It does not say whether medication is included in the program price. Prescriptions may run through insurance or a GoodRx card, and those are paid separately. Lab work, if ordered, may be done at a lab that takes insurance, also paid separately. It does not say whether insurance is accepted for the visits, and it does not describe cancellation terms. A separate Forever Flawless Membership is a $149 monthly deposit toward aesthetic treatments, but no prices are given for the cosmetic treatments themselves.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes your prescription and who reviews your progress at each check-in. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and what it costs each month with insurance or a GoodRx card. Ask whether the $499 fee covers it. Ask what labs and visits cost beyond the program, and whether the $225 quarterly payment continues with no set end. Ask how to cancel, and which visits must happen in the office, since one is required every six months.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want prescription weight loss care from a nurse practitioner inside a cosmetic practice, can pay cash for both the program and the medication, and are comfortable with some visits by video. It is less of a fit if you need the full cost in writing before you book, because several charges are still unclear.
