What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone therapy. It does not say what the weight loss program costs per month, whether medication is included in any price, or whether there is a consultation fee. In its own words: "Medical weight loss is a self-pay program."
New patients who qualify receive one free testosterone shot or one free MIC “skinny” shot when they start. Primary and urgent care visits can be billed to insurance, with most major plans accepted except Cigna and MHS. It does not say how hormone replacement therapy is billed. Ask for the full cost of your first visit and the monthly price before you book.
What should you ask before you book?
Who signs your prescription, Irina Kochersperger, NP, or Dr. Sugata Sensarma, MD, and who checks on you between visits? Does the monthly fee include the medication? Is the injectable a brand-name drug or a compounded one?
What do follow-up visits and lab work cost, and are they billed separately? How do you cancel or pause, and is there a membership term? Does the free shot come with the full program, and what is charged after it?
Do they offer telehealth visits? It does not say. Are labs needed before a hormone prescription, and who pays for them?
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss or hormone therapy, you are ready to pay cash for it, and you would like primary care and aesthetic work in the same Evansville office. If you have Cigna or MHS coverage, call before booking any primary or urgent care visit, because those plans are excluded.
