What is EliTest Health?
EliTest Health is a men's health and medical weight loss practice at 6723 Weaver Rd, Suite #132, Rockford, IL 61114. The phone number is (815) 742-3139. Nick McKeown, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over five years of experience, and he is the only prescriber named.
It offers three services: testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), medical weight loss, and erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment. The weight loss program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide, and ED treatment uses tadalafil or sildenafil. Testosterone cypionate, semaglutide, and tirzepatide come from compounding pharmacies and ship to your door.
Visits can be in person or virtual, though first visits are typically in person. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM, by appointment. The practice serves Winnebago and Boone Counties and beyond, including Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Rockton, and Belvidere. Its Google rating is 5, from 24 reviews.
What does it cost?
Prices are monthly. TRT is $200 a month for men only, and that price covers medication, provider visits, and supplies. Semaglutide is $150 to $200 a month, tirzepatide is $200 to $350 a month, and ED treatment is $100 a month. The combined plans are $300 to $350 a month for TRT with semaglutide, and $350 to $500 a month for TRT with tirzepatide. Each combo has one monthly price with no increase after 3 months.
It does not publish whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide price includes the medication. Labs are billed to insurance or available as low-cost cash pay through a third-party lab of your choice, and no lab price is published. Veterans, active military, first responders, and medical personnel get 10% off TRT. The first consultation is free.
In its own words: "We do not accept insurance. All services are cash-based with transparent pricing and no hidden costs." There are no contracts, and you can cancel at any time with no penalties or hidden fees.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes each prescription. Nick McKeown is the only prescriber named, so ask whether anyone else prescribes as part of your plan.
Ask whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide monthly price includes the medication. If it does not, ask what the medication costs on top of the fee.
Ask what the labs cost at the third-party lab, and what follow-up visits and check-ins cost. None of these are priced.
Ask when billing starts, and whether anything is charged between your labs and your first shipment.
If you live outside Illinois, ask which states virtual visits cover. The practice does not name them.
Ask how cancellation works in writing, and whether the no-increase rule applies to the combo plans.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are paying cash, want a licensed PA in Rockford or a nearby town, and want the unpublished costs answered before you book. If you need insurance to cover the visits, it is not a match, since it does not accept insurance.
