What is Couri Center?

Couri Center is a women's health practice at 6708 N Knoxville Ave in Peoria, Illinois. Its full name on the site is Couri Center for Gynecology and Integrative Women's Health. What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for weight loss or hormone therapy. It describes the first consultation as complimentary, with the wording "Schedule Your Complimentary Consultation." A sale posted in July 2024 offered $50 to $100 off its integrative wellness programs through August 31, 2024. That offer has an end date, so ask whether any discount is current.

It does not say whether it bills insurance. It also does not say whether medication is included in any program fee.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask which provider signs the prescription, and whether you will see a physician, a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant at each visit. Ask whether the program fee includes the medication, and whether the injections are brand-name or compounded. Ask for the total monthly cost, including medication, dietitian sessions, follow-up visits and lab work. Ask whether food sensitivity testing is billed separately.

For hormone pellets, ask what the insertion visit and follow-up labs cost. Ask whether it bills insurance, and what a visit costs without it.
