What does it cost?
Weight loss starts at $125 a month for semaglutide and $225 a month for tirzepatide, and the consultation for weight loss is free. It does not say whether those monthly prices include the medication. Its weight loss pricing lists necessary prescriptions among the included items, so ask whether the drug itself is part of the fee.
Hormone therapy is listed at $350 for women and $700 for men, with no billing period given. Annual memberships run $1,200 for women and $1,800 for men, and the weight loss program can be added to a hormone membership for $1,500 a year. Memberships can be paid over time through Cherry or Alle plans. First responders, nurses, physicians, APRNs, and active duty or retired military receive ten percent off. A one-time fifteen percent discount is offered for leaving reviews on Facebook, Google or Yelp.
Flourish accepts cash, debit, credit, check, FSA and HSA, but not insurance or CareCredit. All membership purchases are final, with no refunds or exchanges. It does not publish a consultation fee for hormone therapy.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription at the office you plan to visit, since Flourish does not name a prescriber.
Ask whether the monthly weight loss price includes the medication, and whether the semaglutide and tirzepatide are brand-name or compounded. Flourish describes semaglutide as the generic form of Ozempic and Wegovy, so ask exactly which product you will receive and who makes it.
In its own words: "Despite the recent discontinuation of Semaglutide and Tirzepatide for the general public, we will continue to offer these GLP-1 medications to our patients on the weight loss program at our Juban Crossing and Hammond locations." Ask whether that applies to new patients, and whether the Slidell office, which lists tirzepatide, offers it on the same terms.
Ask what lab work and follow-up visits cost. Flourish takes no insurance, and its weight loss pricing mentions no extra lab fees only when insurance is involved. Its hormone FAQ describes blood work at the start and again later to set dosing, so ask what each round costs.
Ask how pellet placement is handled. Flourish says the pellet ingredients are FDA approved and regulated, but that the placement procedure itself is not an FDA approved procedure. Ask what that means for you before you book.
