About NFuze Wellness
What is NFuze Wellness?
NFuze Wellness is a med spa and IV hydration spa at 104 S Buchanan St. in Edwardsville, Illinois. It says it also serves Glen Carbon. It offers six services: IV drips, medical weight loss, aesthetics, IM injections, red light therapy, and facials and chemical peels. Medical weight loss is one of those six, not the whole practice. The weight loss program uses two named medications, Semaglutide Weight Loss and Tirzepatide Weight Loss. The first step is a virtual consultation, and after that you book injection visits by phone at 618-900-7638.
NFuze does not name the clinician who prescribes. It says a registered nurse will help you choose a treatment, but it does not say that nurse writes prescriptions. On the weight loss program, it says: "Because our weight loss injections are prescription-based, we require a consultation with one of our healthcare providers." The Edwardsville office is open Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM, Saturday 9AM to 2:30PM, and Sunday by request. Google users rate it 5 from 154 reviews.
What does it cost?
The only price NFuze publishes for weight loss is the $75 consultation, which it describes as a one-time fee for the telemedicine visit. It does not say whether medication is included. It does not publish prices for the injections or for its two packages, Trim Solution 3 (3-month package) and Trim Transformation 6 (6-month package). Both packages include monthly IV infusions, along with doses and shots. NFuze also offers an Ultimate Membership at $299/mo, with member-only pricing and monthly treatments. Its description does not say whether the membership covers weight loss. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not publish cancellation terms. It lists payment plans but gives no terms for them.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and what that clinician's credentials are, before you pay anything. Ask whether the $75 consultation or a package price includes the medication, and whether the semaglutide or tirzepatide is brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost. The intake questionnaire asks whether you have a primary care physician and recent labs, so ask whether NFuze requires labs and who orders them. Ask what happens to a package if you stop partway through, and how to cancel the membership. Ask whether the $299 membership applies to weight loss, and whether they accept insurance or HSA funds.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a medical weight loss program inside a spa that also offers IV drips and aesthetic treatments, you are prepared to pay cash, and you can get the prescriber's name and the full medication price in writing before you book. Check your BMI first. The questionnaire says a BMI below 27 does not meet the criteria for the injections.
