The weight management program describes a 45-minute first visit with lab work ordered, but gives no fee for the visit or the labs. It lists lab work among the program's components without a price. Costs are discussed at the consultation, so ask for the full figures in writing before you agree to anything.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs prescriptions. Dr. Wood is the only prescriber named, so ask whether Becky Hammon also writes prescriptions. Next, ask whether a monthly fee includes the medication, and whether each medication is brand-name or compounded. For the peptides in particular, ask which pharmacy supplies them and whether they are compounded.
Then ask what follow-up costs. The weight program lists monthly physician check-ins and lab work every 8 to 12 weeks, with quarterly check-ins after the first six months. Ask what each visit and each lab panel costs. Ask how a program is cancelled and whether any term or commitment applies. Telehealth is not mentioned, so if remote visits matter to you, ask directly. If you are considering the Optifast meal replacement system, ask what it costs and whether it is part of the program price.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a physician in Columbia reviewing your labs and prescriptions at the office, and you are ready to pay out of pocket once you have a written price. If you need the price before you call, or you want video visits, get those answers first.
