What is Pure 111 Medical Aesthetics?
Pure 111 Medical Aesthetics is a medical spa with offices in Fairview Heights and Columbia, Illinois. Most of its work is cosmetic: neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, laser treatments, facials and body contouring. Hormone and weight loss care sit alongside that menu. It offers hormone replacement therapy (HRT), testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and medical weight loss, plus IV therapy and vitamin shots. Google lists it as a medical spa, with a rating of 5 from 300 reviews.
Its TRT program names testosterone pellets as the main delivery method. Pellets are placed just under the skin in an office visit that the clinic puts at 15 to 20 minutes. Testosterone injections and topical creams are also offered for patients who prefer another format. The HRT material mentions topical therapy and other delivery methods but names no specific medication. The weight loss program does not name a medication either.
No prescriber is named. The team section describes nurse practitioners, expert injectors, medical estheticians and laser technicians, but it does not say who writes hormone prescriptions.
This listing is for its Columbia office at 830 Admiral Weinel Blvd.
What does it cost?
Pure 111 does not publish prices for HRT, TRT, weight loss or consultations. Its HRT material says pricing depends on diagnostic testing and the individual plan, and that details are reviewed at the consultation. It lists CareCredit financing, along with FSA and HSA accounts.
It does not say whether it accepts insurance. Its answer on coverage reads, in its own words: "Insurance coverage varies by provider and individual plan."
Its membership terms say: "You reserve the right to cancel your membership after your 12 month commitment." The clinic does not say whether hormone or weight loss care falls under a membership.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with location. Its hormone material names Columbia, but Pure 111 does not say which office offers HRT or TRT, so ask which one you would be seen at. Ask who writes and signs the prescription and what that person's credentials are. Ask for the consultation fee and whether the initial lab work is included.
For TRT, ask for the full cost: the pellet visit, the testosterone itself, follow-up visits and repeat lab work. Ask whether any monthly fee covers the medication, and whether the testosterone is a brand-name product or compounded. For weight loss, ask which medication, if any, is used and what it costs. Ask whether any visits can be done by telehealth, since Pure 111 does not say. Ask for its hours, which are not listed. If a membership would apply to your care, get the commitment and cancellation terms in writing.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic work and hormone or weight loss care from the same office, and you are willing to get the prescriber, the full price and the medication in writing before you pay anything. If you need those answers listed on a website before you commit, call (618) 208-1111 first and work through the questions above.
