About Vigeo Care Center & Aesthetics

What is Vigeo Care Center & Aesthetics?

Vigeo Care Center & Aesthetics is a medical spa and wellness clinic with offices in Algonquin and Rockford, Illinois. Much of its menu is aesthetic work, from laser treatments and neurotoxin to dermal fillers, HydraFacial and body contouring. It also lists primary care, women's health, gynecology, birth control, hormone and menopause care, testosterone replacement therapy for men, IV therapy, B12 injections, nutritional services and peptide therapy. Google lists it as a facial spa and gives it a 5.0 rating from 121 reviews.

Its weight-loss program is the only service that names a medication, Zepbound. In its own words: "We provide medically supervised weight-loss using Zepbound, an FDA-approved prescription medication, combined with clinical evaluation, ongoing monitoring, and patient education." It does not name the clinician who prescribes it.

What does it cost?

It does not publish prices for weight loss, hormone therapy or peptide therapy, and it does not publish a consultation fee. The only price it publishes is a limited-time offer of $10 per unit of neurotoxin for first-time clients, which is an aesthetic service and not one of its medical programs. It says licensed medical professionals give IV therapies after a consultation, but it does not state what that consultation costs.

It does not say whether a weight-loss fee includes the medication, whether it accepts insurance, or whether any visits are done by video. It lists a membership program, flexible payment plans and insurance options, but it does not publish their terms. It does not publish hours either.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the Zepbound prescription, who will see you at each follow-up, and whether the same clinician prescribes hormone therapy and peptide therapy. Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what the evaluation, ongoing monitoring and lab work cost on top of it. Only Zepbound is named, so ask whether any version of the medication is compounded.

Ask whether Weight Loss IV Therapy is a separate product from the Zepbound program and what it costs. Ask what the peptide therapy involves and whether any visits are by video. Finally, ask how a membership or payment plan is cancelled, and which hours each office keeps, since the clinic does not publish them.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a medical spa where weight-loss care, hormone care and aesthetic treatments sit under one roof, and you are willing to get the prescriber, the monthly price and the cancellation terms confirmed before you book. It is worth calling if you are mainly looking for a Zepbound program with published fees, since it does not publish them.
