About Epoch Health

What is Epoch Health?

Epoch Health is a cash-pay practice at 3773 W 5th Ave., Ste. 303, Post Falls, ID 83854, phone 208-875-4082. Its main work is metabolic, hormone and fertility care. It describes itself as working alongside your primary care provider or OB/GYN, not in place of one. Tenisha Greunke, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is the nurse practitioner who prescribes, and the practice describes her as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Jared Greunke handles operations and does not prescribe.

Medically managed weight loss can include GLP-1 medications, given as injections, along with oral medications when appropriate. Hormone care covers women and men, including perimenopause and menopause hormone therapy, low testosterone (TRT) and thyroid optimization. Fertility support is also offered. Peptide protocols and NAD+ support programs are optional add-ons for members. Telehealth visits are open to people in Idaho and Washington. Google lists the practice as a medical clinic, rated 4.7 from 9 reviews. No hours are listed.

What does it cost?

Memberships bill monthly on the day your membership starts. There are four tiers: Essential Care at $129 a month, a second tier at $199 a month, Advanced Care at $279 a month, and Complete Care at $399 a month, which includes quarterly labs. Medication is not included in any tier. Labs, medications and supplements are generally not included in membership pricing, and Epoch Health does not publish prices for GLP-1 or hormone medication.

The practice operates outside insurance. Patients may still use insurance for labs, medications and imaging if their plan allows. HSA or FSA funds can often be used, but coverage varies by plan, so check with your benefits provider. The consultation fee is not published. Consultation fees are non-refundable, but can be applied to a membership joined within 30 days. Memberships may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice. Cancelling without that notice, or for non-payment, may bring a $200 cancellation fee. Peptide and NAD+ add-ons have no published prices.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the consultation fee, since no amount is published. Then ask what a GLP-1 or hormone prescription would cost each month on top of your membership, and whether a GLP-1 is brand-name or compounded. On peptides, the practice states: In its own words: "we only work with legally regulated compounding pharmacies (503A or 503B)." Ask which peptides it offers, because none are named.

Ask whether Tenisha Greunke personally signs your prescriptions, and who reviews your labs and adjusts your plan. Ask what labs and follow-up visits cost if you are not on Complete Care. Ask for office hours, since none are listed. If you live outside Idaho and Washington, ask whether you qualify, since out-of-state patients may be seen when visits take place in Idaho. Finally, ask about cancellation. Appointments need 48 hours' notice, and up to three may be moved each year without a fee.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want ongoing monthly care from a nurse practitioner for weight, hormones or fertility, can pay in cash, and expect to pay for medication and labs separately. It may not suit you if you need a physician, need visits billed to insurance, or need emergency care, which the practice does not provide.
