What is Idaho Regenerative Medicine?
Idaho Regenerative Medicine, or IRM, is a naturopathic regenerative medicine clinic at 5513 N Glenwood St. Suite C in Garden City, Idaho. It is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, by appointment only, and it also offers virtual appointments. Dr. Sara Jo Walton built the practice and is the one prescriber named. The clinic does not publish her credentials, so ask what license she holds before you book.
The clinic's weight program is called Metabolic Optimization. It describes a plan that may include hormone context, peptides, and "GLP support when appropriate," but it does not name the GLP medication. Hormone Optimization may include testosterone optimization and prostate health considerations for men, and estrogen, progesterone and testosterone for women. Peptide Therapy and Longevity & Healthspan are also listed. In its own words: "Optimization begins with the whole pattern, not one number on a lab panel." IRM also lists IV therapy, ozone therapy, rehabilitation, fat transfer and regenerative aesthetics.
What does it cost?
IRM does not publish prices. It also does not state a consultation fee, whether a monthly price would include medication, or whether it accepts insurance. The first step it describes is a Get to Know You Consult, and no price is given for that visit. Ask for the total cost of the first visit in writing, including any assessment labs, imaging or ultrasound the clinic may order. Ask whether labs and follow-up visits are billed separately, whether there is a membership term, and how cancellation works. The clinic's phone number is 208-370-2380.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and signs your prescription, and whether that will be Dr. Walton or another provider. Ask what license she holds. Ask which GLP medication "GLP support" refers to, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask whether any monthly fee covers the medication, the labs and the follow-up visits. For hormone care, ask how levels are monitored and whether changes to the plan are billed separately. Confirm the assessment cost, since it may include labs, live blood analysis and in-office ultrasound. Finally, make sure you are booking with this clinic at this address. IRM says it is independent and not affiliated with the Idaho Center for Regenerative Medicine or other similarly named Treasure Valley clinics.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a doctor-led practice that looks at metabolism, hormones and recovery together, and you are comfortable with a naturopathic approach. If you need a published price and a named medication before you commit, get both in writing before your first visit.
