About Skin Sanctuary Idaho
What is Skin Sanctuary Idaho?
Skin Sanctuary Idaho is a Nurse Practitioner-led clinic in Caldwell, and it is mainly an aesthetics practice. Its aesthetic services include Botox, Daxxify and Letybo, dermal fillers, microneedling and chemical peels. The only prescriber named is Juanita Layne, APRN, FNP-C, MSN. The clinic is at 820 Arthur St Ste 117, Caldwell, ID 83605, inside Executive Salon & Suites, and it has a 5-star rating from 22 Google reviews.
It also offers medical weight loss with GLP-1 medication, hormone therapy (HRT and BHRT), vitamin injections, membership-based Direct Primary Care, preventive care and chronic disease management. In its own words: "Feel more like yourself with personalized weight loss and hormone therapy care, right here in Idaho." Juanita Layne began her nursing career in 2009 and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Care is available in English and Spanish. The clinic does not publish hours.
What does it cost?
Most of the prices are starting points. GLP-1 weight loss starts at $250 a month, and the clinic does not say whether the medication is included. Hormone replacement starts at $150, and required labs start at $80. A wellness exam is $95, with labs billed separately. Primary care is $95 for an annual wellness exam or chronic care, and $65 for acute care, with labs and medications separate. Wrinkle reducers start at $10 per unit, microneedling at $300 per session and dermal fillers at $500 per syringe. Consultations are free, in person or by telehealth.
Cash, debit and credit cards, HSA/FSA and Cherry Payment Plans are accepted. The clinic does not say whether insurance is accepted, and it does not publish a membership price or commitment terms for Direct Primary Care. Cancellations require 24-hour advance notice.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription, both in person and by telehealth. Ask whether the $250 monthly fee includes the GLP-1 medication. The clinic names no GLP-1 drug, and its FAQ says compounded versions are not FDA-approved, so ask whether you would receive a brand-name or compounded product. Ask for the full monthly cost once labs and follow-up visits are added.
Ask which states telehealth covers. The telehealth page lists Idaho, New Mexico, Florida, Arizona, Wyoming and Washington, but the FAQ says telehealth is for Idaho residents only. Ask for the membership terms and how to cancel one, and whether any visit can be billed to insurance.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments, or cash-pay weight, hormone or primary care from a Nurse Practitioner in Caldwell, and you are comfortable asking about medication and total cost before you book. It is a weaker fit if you need insurance billing or a fixed all-in monthly price, since neither is published.
