About OM Wellness & Aesthetics

What is OM Wellness & Aesthetics?

OM Wellness & Aesthetics is a medical spa at 1617 W Jefferson St in Boise, Idaho. It was founded in 2016. Most of its services are aesthetic, including Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, microneedling, lasers, and facials and chemical peels. It also offers medically guided weight loss, hormone therapy, and IV therapy.

Allyson Reynolds, NP, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, NP is the one prescriber the clinic names, and it describes her as a Certified Menopause Practitioner. An RN named Bliss handles in-house blood draws for hormone patients. The weight loss program names Ozempic® (semaglutide) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro®), and each visit includes an InBody scan. The clinic has a 5-star Google rating from 294 reviews. Hours are listed Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with no weekend times. In its own words: "We get to know you, your goals, and your history before we recommend anything."

What does it cost?

The new weight loss consultation is $199, and follow-up weight loss visits are $129. GLP-1 vials are listed at $500. Monthly weight loss plans are $300 for 4 weeks, $550 for 8 weeks ($275 a month), or $1,000 for 16 weeks ($250 a month). The clinic does not say whether these prices include the medication. Hormone consults are $299 and follow-ups are $199. Pellet placement is $399 for women and $699 for men. A single IV is $250, or $200 a month for a membership with one IV per month.

The About Face membership is $129 a month or $1,548 a year, with a $50 registration fee for monthly members. Each membership has a 1-year commitment. The clinic does not publish insurance information.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the weight loss plan price includes the medication or whether the drug is billed on top. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, since the clinic names the brand drugs but does not say which it dispenses. Ask who manages weight loss. Allyson Reynolds is the only named prescriber, and the weight loss material refers only to "our medical provider."

Ask what lab work costs, since hormone care starts with bloodwork and no lab prices are published. Ask whether the clinic bills insurance, whether follow-ups can be done by telehealth, and what happens if you cancel a membership before the 1-year commitment ends.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in or near Boise, can pay cash for visits and medication, and want weight loss or hormone care in the same office as injectables and facials. It is a weaker match if you need telehealth, insurance billing, or a peptide or longevity program, since none of those are listed.
