What is New Age Weight Loss?
New Age Weight Loss is a medication-based weight loss program at 3501 W Elder Ste 102 in Boise, Idaho. The business is operated by New Age Med Clinic, LLC. Its main service is a monthly program built on GLP-1 and tirzepatide medication, and the medications it names are semaglutide and tirzepatide. Most of the care is remote. You book a free consultation, complete an intake form, and have a virtual intake with a licensed prescriber. Remote service is offered in Oregon, Idaho and Washington, and no prescribing doctor is named.
The business also sells a monthly online coaching program, Rewire Your Mind for Customized Weight Loss Success. Its terms describe that program as non-clinical mindset services, so it is not medical treatment. It also offers a free 14-day Emotional Reset sign-up. On the medical side, in its own words: "We utilize GLP-1 and Tirzepatide protocols along with other anti-aging and regenerative solutions." It does not say what those other solutions are.
What does it cost?
The medical program is $249 a month for GLP-1 and $329 a month for tirzepatide. Both are listed as discounted offers, and both are subscriptions. The monthly price includes the medication, shipped directly to you. One-month plans are a one-time fee for one month, and they include prescription medication too. If a higher dose or a stronger medication is needed, the medication price may change.
The coaching program is $289.00 a month and involves no medication. The consultation and the 14-day Emotional Reset are free. It does not say whether it accepts insurance or HSA funds. On cancellation, subscriptions can be cancelled at any time under its cancellation policy, but that policy is not spelled out.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who the prescribing doctor is, by name, and whether that person reviews your chart and approves each refill. Ask whether the monthly price covers every refill for as long as you stay on the program, and what changes if you move to a higher dose or a different medication. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it. Ask whether follow-up visits and lab work are included, and what they cost if they are not. It does not publish anything about labs.
Ask for the cancellation policy in writing, and confirm whether a cancelled subscription stops refills. Ask whether it takes insurance or HSA funds, what its hours are, and whether any visit happens in person. Ask what the "other anti-aging and regenerative solutions" are and what they cost. Finally, check eligibility before you pay. The program requires 20 or more pounds to lose and rules out several conditions, including pregnancy and current diabetes medication.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live in Oregon, Idaho or Washington, want a medication-based program you can run remotely, and are comfortable with a monthly fee that includes the medication. If you want an in-person clinic, a named prescriber, or a clear answer on insurance before you pay, get those answers first.
