About MW Aesthetics

What is MW Aesthetics?

MW Aesthetics is a medspa at 1188 Bishop Street, Suite 2609, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and it calls itself a boutique concierge medspa. Most of what it offers is cosmetic work: Botox and other wrinkle relaxers, SkinPen microneedling, VI Peels, PRP treatments and skincare products. Medical weight loss is one of its services, listed alongside vitamin injections, IV hydration and hyperhidrosis treatment. Treatments are done at the studio or on location through concierge mobile visits across Oʻahu, and telehealth evaluations and follow-up are offered to eligible patients.

The weight loss program may include GLP-1 medications, along with lifestyle guidance and regular monitoring. In its own words: "Treatment plans are tailored to each individual following a medical evaluation." The clinic also names sermorelin and ipamorelin under peptide therapy, "when appropriate," and lists NAD+ support among its longevity services. Google shows the business at 5 stars from 85 reviews, under the category Weight loss service. The clinic does not name who prescribes for weight loss. Its blog says injectable treatments are performed by a board-certified nurse practitioner, but it gives no name.

What does it cost?

It does not publish a weight loss price, a consultation fee, or whether any price includes medication. Botox is listed at $11 per unit for new clients, with a 20-unit minimum. A $50 discount on a first appointment is offered, valid for one treatment and not combined with other promotions. The clinic lists a $99 a month price for prescription medication management, but it does not say that this covers weight loss medication. Membership carries no commitment. In its own words: "No commitment. Cancel anytime." It does not say whether insurance is accepted.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the weight loss prescription, and whether that person is a physician, a nurse practitioner or someone else. Ask whether GLP-1 medication is included in the monthly fee or billed separately, and whether it is brand-name or compounded. Ask what the $99 a month covers and whether it applies to weight loss at all.

Ask what the medical evaluation, the consultation, follow-up visits and lab work cost, since none of these is priced. Ask who qualifies for telehealth and whether the first visit must be in person. If you are considering sermorelin or ipamorelin, ask how they are prescribed and priced. Finally, ask how cancellation works once medication has been dispensed, since the "cancel anytime" line does not address it.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss from a clinic that also does cosmetic work, and you are willing to get prices in writing before you visit. It is a weaker fit if you need a published weight loss price or want the prescriber's name before you book. The clinic's phone number is (808) 534-4700 if you want to ask these questions directly.
