About Lakeside Wellness
What is Lakeside Wellness?
Lakeside Wellness is a cash-pay clinic at 4100 Spirit Lake Rd Suite 2 in Winter Haven, Florida. Its main work is medical weight loss and hormone therapy. It also offers peptide therapy, IV hydration, minor urgent care and a Glow & Go Shot Bar. The only prescriber the clinic names is Ingrid Fernandez, APRN, FNP-BC. Its team has over 25 years of combined medical experience.
Weight loss uses injectable programs with semaglutide or tirzepatide, plus oral combinations that include bupropion, phentermine, topiramate, naltrexone, metformin and B12. Consultations can be done by phone or telehealth. It does not publish opening hours, so call 863-331-4991. Its Google listing shows a rating of 5 from 31 reviews.
What does it cost?
Hormone visits start with a $99 initial consultation lasting 30 minutes. Monthly testosterone therapy is $160, and the price depends on dose and whether HCG is added. Monthly female hormone therapy is $250 and covers up to 3 hormone prescriptions. Blood work is extra, billed through insurance or paid at a discounted cash price through LabCorp.
Weight loss is priced monthly. Semaglutide is $200 a month for months 1 to 3 and $300 from month 4. Tirzepatide is $400 for months 1 to 3 and $500 from month 4. Oral combinations run from $75 to $200 a month, and low dose naltrexone starts at $100. The first weight loss consultation is free. It does not say whether the medication itself is included in the GLP price.
The clinic does not bill insurance, but it accepts HSA and FSA cards and offers the Cherry payment plan. A no-show or same-day cancellation costs $50, and cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice. It does not publish prices for peptide therapy, IV hydration or the Glow & Go shots.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who will write your prescription and whether it will be Ingrid Fernandez, APRN, FNP-BC. Ask whether the GLP medications are brand-name or compounded. Some therapies may use compounded medications that may not be FDA-approved.
Ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication, and what follow-up visits and lab work cost each month. Ask what the peptide program contains and what it costs. Ask whether telehealth is available in your state, since it does not say. Confirm the cancellation rules before you pay.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want cash-pay weight loss or hormone care from a nurse practitioner, and you are ready to ask about compounding, the full monthly cost and lab work before you pay. It is not a fit if you need a primary care clinic. It is not a primary care clinic and does not manage long-term or chronic conditions.
