What is AR Aesthetics?
AR Aesthetics is a medical spa, so most of what it does is cosmetic: injectables, cosmetic surgery, skin treatments and hair restoration. It also lists weight loss and peptide therapy under a wellness heading. It was founded in 2020 and has offices in Tampa, Melbourne and St. Petersburg, Florida.
Its weight loss program names three prescription medications: semaglutide, tirzepatide and cagrillantide. The clinic describes physician-supervised protocols, nutrition plans based on metabolic profiling, and cryolipolysis, a non-invasive fat reduction treatment. The person named as its prescriber is Alexa Rodica, APRN, ARNP. The clinic mentions physician supervision but does not say who prescribes the weight loss medications.
This listing is for its Tampa office at 4100 W Kennedy Blvd #130.
What does it cost?
AR Aesthetics does not publish prices for weight loss or peptide therapy, and it gives no consultation fee. It does not say whether medication is included in a program price, whether it accepts insurance, or how cancellation works. In its own words: "Costs vary based on program duration and treatments."
The only dollar figures it publishes are for its loyalty program. Spending $1,500 earns 5% off all services, rising to 10% at $3,000, 15% at $5,000 and 20% at $8,000. Discounts exclude already discounted specials and half syringes, and they reset each calendar year. It does not say whether they apply to weight loss medication.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. Ask who writes and signs the weight loss prescription, and whether a physician supervises it as the clinic describes. Then ask whether the monthly price includes the medication, what each of the three medications costs, and whether each one is the brand-name product or a compounded version, and if compounded, from which pharmacy.
Ask about everything around the medication too. What do the metabolic profiling and the nutrition plan cost? Is cryolipolysis included or billed separately? Follow-up visits come every 2 to 4 weeks, so ask what each visit and any lab work costs, and how a program is canceled. Also ask whether any visits can be done by video, whether it takes insurance, and what its hours are. The Tampa line is 813-644-9964.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight management from a practice that also offers cosmetic work, and you are prepared to get the prescriber, the monthly price and the cancellation terms in writing before you pay. If you need prices, hours or insurance details before committing, call first and wait for the answers.
