About Sunshine Aesthetics & Wellness
What is Sunshine Aesthetics & Wellness?
Sunshine Aesthetics & Wellness is a med spa at 50 NE Dixie Highway, Suite A6, in Stuart, Florida. Most of its work is aesthetic, including Botox alternatives, fillers, microneedling and facials. It also offers medical weight loss, peptide therapy, IV therapy and concierge primary care. Sara, FNP-BC, founded the practice and is the only prescriber named. Her listed title is Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
The weight-loss program uses semaglutide or tirzepatide, which the clinic reports come from a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy. In its own words: "Every patient is paired with a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for medical clearance, lab work, dose titration and ongoing support." Primary care includes same-week telehealth visits for urgent and follow-up care. The business has a 5 rating on Google from 112 reviews.
What does it cost?
The medical weight-loss program is $90 a month plus a $150 consult fee. The clinic does not say whether the medication is included in the monthly price. It reports that lab fees may be covered by insurance, but it does not say whether it accepts insurance. It accepts HSA and FSA where eligible, and it lists Cherry, Affirm and PatientFi for financing. Cherry lets you spread the cost over 3 to 24 months.
Primary care membership is optional, and one-off visits and labs are also available, but no membership prices are published. It does not publish prices for peptide therapy, IV drips, injectables or primary care. It does not state cancellation terms for any of them.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription. Sara is the only prescriber named, but the clinic does not say whether she is a physician or whether a physician supervises her care. Ask that directly.
Then ask whether the $90 monthly fee includes the semaglutide or tirzepatide, and what else you would pay each month. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether the clinic takes your insurance. Ask how you cancel a program or membership. Its listed hours are by appointment only, so ask for the office hours too. If you are considering peptides, ask the price of a protocol before you agree to one.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want aesthetic treatments and medical weight-loss or peptide care from the same nurse practitioner, and you are comfortable paying cash when some prices are not published. The clinic notes that adults with a BMI over 27 and at least one weight-related health condition, or a BMI over 30, generally qualify for the weight-loss program. It is a weaker fit if you need a full price and insurance answer before your first visit.
