What is My Skin?

My Skin is a dermatology practice with offices in St. Petersburg and Bradenton, Florida. Most of its work is skin care: skin cancer exams, medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and aesthetician services. Medical weight loss is one of its services, and it also offers hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

What does it cost?

Ask what the first visit, follow-up visits and lab work cost, and whether insurance will be billed for any of them. The clinic does not list its hours or say whether telehealth is available, so ask both. Ask how you cancel and whether there is a minimum commitment. If the cosmetic membership interests you, ask whether it applies to weight loss care. No referral is needed, so you can book directly.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want skin care and medical weight loss from one dermatology practice, and you are comfortable with a nurse practitioner as your prescriber. It is less clear a fit if you need a physician to prescribe, or if you want a price in writing before you book. Ask those questions by phone at either office before you commit.
