What is Mirror Plastic Surgery?
Mirror Plastic Surgery is a plastic surgery practice at 780 4th Ave S in St. Petersburg, Florida 33701. The phone number is 727-361-6515. Its main work is surgery for the face, breast and body, plus aesthetic injectables such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Its weight loss, hormone and peptide care is offered under the name Mirror Plastic Surgery Peptides.
The only prescriber named is Dr. Akash Chandawarkar, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. The weight loss protocols center on GLP-1 T, which the practice itself notes is informal shorthand for tirzepatide rather than an official drug name. The protocols come with lab panels, concierge support and nationwide remote access. The practice also names semaglutide, sold as Ozempic and Wegovy, and lists Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy among the brand names.
Its men's hormone program, bioidentical hormone therapy for men, is offered in Tampa and St. Petersburg. It also offers bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for females. The peptide line includes BPC-157, TB-500 Peptide, GHK-Cu Peptide and a Glow Peptide Stack. Other services include anti-aging care, acne treatment, sexual wellness, male and female fertility support, autoimmune disease treatment and anti-inflammatory care. It also lists GLP-3 R, which it calls investigational.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. It also does not state a consultation fee, whether it accepts insurance, whether it offers HSA or financing, or whether medication is included in any program fee. Its model is concierge, but it does not explain what that costs or whether it is a membership. Ask for the full cost of your first visit and your first month in writing, including medication, lab work and follow-up visits.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription. Dr. Chandawarkar is the only prescriber named, so ask whether he personally reviews your case and signs each prescription, and who answers your questions between visits.
Next, ask whether the tirzepatide is brand-name Mounjaro or Zepbound, or a compounded version. If it is compounded, ask which pharmacy made it and whether that pharmacy is licensed. Ask the same about the hormones: FDA-approved or compounded.
The GLP-3 R listing deserves a direct question. In its own words: "It is not FDA approved and is not legally available outside clinical trials." Ask what you would actually receive, where it would come from, and why it would be offered at all outside a trial.
Because remote access is offered, ask whether an in-person exam or local lab draws are required. Ask what labs and follow-up visits cost, and ask for office hours, which are not listed. Ask who evaluates you for the autoimmune, fertility and acne services.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want surgery or injectables from a plastic surgery practice and you are comfortable with weight loss, hormone and peptide care coming from the same office. If you want a weight loss program with a published price and a clear medication source, get those answers in writing before you pay anything.
