About AMS Wellness & IV
What is AMS Wellness & IV?
AMS Wellness & IV is a physician-directed wellness center with offices in Englewood and Sarasota, Florida. The Englewood office serves Englewood and nearby towns, including Rotonda West, North Port, Venice, Port Charlotte, Manasota Key and Boca Grande, and the clinic also offers mobile IV service. Its Google listing files it as an IV therapy service, and IV therapy leads the services list. The rest of the menu includes wellness injections, lab testing, NAD+, hair-loss treatment, peptide therapy, hormone and sexual wellness, and medical weight management. The weight program uses semaglutide and tirzepatide. The physician named on the site is Quratulain Hayat, DO, Family Medicine, listed as Medical Director and Supervising Physician. Its Google listing shows a 5 rating from 4 reviews. Medical aesthetics are coming soon to Englewood and are currently offered in Sarasota.
Every visit is in person. In its own words: "We do not offer online consultations."
This listing is for its Sarasota office at 2325 Bee Ridge Rd STE B.
What does it cost?
The clearest prices are for the weight program. Semaglutide starts at $199 per 4-week cycle, and tirzepatide starts at $299 per cycle. The price rises with the dose level you are on, up to $399 per cycle on either program. In its own words: "Medication, supplies, and your in-person check-in included in every cycle." It is self-pay, and the clinic does not bill insurance for this program. It does not publish prices for hormone or peptide options, and it does not state a consultation fee. It also does not say how cancellation works or whether it accepts HSA funds or financing, so ask about those before you book.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs your prescription and whether Quratulain Hayat, DO, evaluates you in person before each one. Ask whether the medicine is the brand-name product or a compounded version. Which one you get depends on availability, and the physician tells you which is being used before you start.
Ask what labs cost and whether they are done in-house. Hormone plans require labs within a 30-day window, and the weight program may request labs as you progress. Ask whether the in-person check-in is included each cycle, as the weight program describes it.
Ask how cancellation works and whether you can pause a cycle. Ask whether you need an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome for IV drips and injections during open hours, but physician-evaluated services start with an appointment. Finally, ask what happens if your labs point to something outside the clinic's scope. It does not offer testosterone replacement, estrogen, progesterone or hormone pellets, and it says it refers patients to their primary care physician first.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you can come to the Englewood or Sarasota office for each check-in, and you are ready to pay cash for care your insurance will not cover. If you need an online consultation, this clinic does not offer one.
