About Corinthian's Primary Care and Wellness

What is Corinthian's Primary Care and Wellness?

Corinthian's Primary Care and Wellness is a primary care practice in Pembroke Pines, at 2221 N University Dr, Suite B. It also offers medical weight loss, IV therapy and aesthetic treatments. Its main work is primary care, sold largely through monthly membership plans that include in-person and telehealth visits, lab orders and chronic disease management.

The weight loss side is a 12-week medical program built on GLP-1 medication. It includes an initial medical evaluation, the GLP-1 medication with dose adjustments, weekly check-ins for weight and vitals (12 visits), weekly lipotropic injections, and nutrition and lifestyle guidance. It does not say which GLP-1 drug it uses, and it does not name its providers.

Office hours are evenings and weekends: Wednesday to Friday 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Telehealth visits are offered based on availability.

What does it cost?

The 12-Week Medical Weight Loss Program is $1,249. The Advanced Weight Loss Program is $1,349 and adds one IV therapy session. Both are listed as valid for 3 months, and both list the GLP-1 medication as included in the price.

Primary care memberships are priced separately. The Essential Care Plan is $79 a month, the Advanced Care Plan is $129 a month and the Elite Wellness Membership is $179 a month. The two higher plans include 15% off wellness and aesthetic services; ask whether that discount applies to the weight program.

Payment plans are offered through Cherry. It does not say whether it takes insurance.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask which GLP-1 medication the program uses and whether it's brand-name or compounded. Ask who evaluates you and signs the prescription, and what license they hold, since no clinician is named. Ask what happens after 12 weeks: what continuing care costs, and whether the medication stays included.

Ask whether lab work is part of the program price or billed on top. Ask about refunds if you stop early or the medication doesn't suit you. If you'd use insurance for the primary care side, ask whether they bill it at all.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a GLP-1 program with one posted price that includes the medication, and evening or weekend hours suit your schedule. If you want to know your prescriber's name and credentials before you pay, ask first.
