About The Hormone & Wellness Center
What is The Hormone & Wellness Center?
The Hormone & Wellness Center is a clinic at 508 Airport Rd, Suite G, in Panama City, Florida. Its main work is hormone care, and it also runs a weight loss program. Michelle Hines-Bautista, ARNP, is the only prescriber it names. She has been an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner since 1994 and has specialized in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy since 2006.
The clinic describes its main service this way: "At the Hormone & Wellness Center, we specialize in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) for both men and women." It also treats hormonal imbalances in teens age 13 and older, adrenal fatigue and thyroid issues. Its weight loss program includes injections, and semaglutide and tirzepatide are the two medications it names. It does not name peptide or longevity services. Its menu has a telemedicine heading, but it does not explain what that covers.
Office hours are limited. It is open Wednesday from 7:30am to 4:30pm and Thursday from 7:30am to 2:30pm. Monday, Tuesday and Friday are appointment only, and it is open one Saturday a month. It closes for lunch daily from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. The office phone is (850) 215-4455. It has a 2.6 rating on Google from 13 reviews.
What does it cost?
The initial appointment costs $150. The weight loss program costs between $50 and $100 a month. That fee covers a monthly provider visit, weekly visits, weekly fat burner and vitamin shots, weekly body composition checks, coaching on diet and exercise, management of medication side effects, and prescriptions for weight loss medications. The monthly fee does not include the medication itself. Semaglutide starts at $50 a month and tirzepatide starts at $90 a month.
It does not publish prices for hormone therapy. It lists Medicare as the only insurance it accepts. It does not say whether it accepts HSA funds or offers financing, and it does not state cancellation or commitment terms for the weight loss program.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who writes your prescriptions. Ask whether Michelle Hines-Bautista will see you for every follow-up, or whether another clinician might. Next, ask whether semaglutide and tirzepatide are brand-name or compounded, and what each one costs on top of the program fee. Ask what labs, prostate exams, mammograms and other tests cost, and whether follow-up visits are billed separately.
The clinic asks patients not to call for medication refills, so ask how refills work instead. Two secure text numbers appear, (850) 397-3898 and (833) 633-0586, so confirm which one to use. Ask whether telemedicine visits are available and what they cover. Ask how to cancel the weight loss program and whether there is a minimum commitment. Because the clinic's own description mentions bartering, ask whether that is a payment option.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you have Medicare, want hormone or weight loss care from a nurse practitioner who has worked in hormone therapy since 2006, and are ready to pay out of pocket for the program and medications. If you have another insurance plan, or you need answers in writing about telehealth or cancellation before you commit, call first.
