What is Affordable Care Clinics?
Affordable Care Clinics is a walk-in medical practice with offices in Palm Bay and Orlando. Its main work is primary care and urgent care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, and no appointment is needed. In its own words: "Most patients are seen, treated, and released in about 60 minutes."
Alongside that, it runs a set of specialty and cash-pay services. These include weight loss with GLP-1 medications and semaglutide, bioidentical hormone pellet therapy, peptide therapy, IV hydration, an IV ketamine program, and SPRAVATO nasal spray. It also offers medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, Vivitrol, Sublocade and Brixadi, plus Botox, pain management, sports medicine, women's health, lab services, vaccinations and occupational health. Virtual visits cover follow-ups, prescription refills and minor concerns. Kantilal Bhalani, MD is the one physician listed at both offices. Its other clinicians, a mix of physicians, physician assistants and APRNs, are each listed at one office or the other.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for its weight loss, pellet or peptide services, and it does not publish a consultation fee. It does not say whether medication is included in any price. The IV Ketamine program is run as a cash-pay program. The clinic accepts multiple insurance plans, including VA benefits. On its pricing, it says: "Before proceeding with anything extra, we will always let you know your price options."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which office offers the weight loss, pellet and peptide services, because it does not say. Ask who writes the prescription for each program. Kantilal Bhalani is the physician named at both offices, but it does not say who prescribes these programs.
Ask whether a program fee includes the medication, and whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost. Pellet therapy and peptide protocols are both tailored to lab results, so the lab costs matter. Ask how cancellation works, and whether your insurance covers any of the program, since the services page warns that not all services are covered.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you need walk-in primary or urgent care first and want cash-pay specialty services from the same practice. If weight loss, pellet or peptide care is the reason you are calling, make it worth a call and go over prices, prescribers and office availability before you book, since none of those are published.
