What is Empower Health?

Empower Health is a medical spa at 106 North Old Kings Rd., Suite D, in Ormond Beach, Florida. Most of what it offers is skin and body work: hair removal, Laser Genesis, IPL, microneedling, EMFace, EMSculpt, EMSella, and facials and peels. Weight loss is one of its listed services, and the only one that involves medication. In its own words: "Our medical weight loss program utilizes the latest FDA-approved weight management medications." Google lists the business as a medical spa, with a 5 rating from 42 reviews.

What does it cost?

The weight loss program starts at $99 a month. The clinic does not say whether medication is included in that price. The first step is a free consultation, which includes a personalized assessment of your current health and a custom-tailored wellness blueprint.

Memberships are priced separately. The clinic lists a Silver membership at $99 a month, a Gold at $299 a month, and a Platinum at $499 a month. The Diamond and Personalized memberships are listed as "Call for Pricing" or "Custom Pricing." One listing also shows a $50 a month membership, so the clinic's own prices do not match everywhere. Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a medically supervised weight loss program and also want skin or body treatments in the same office, and you are willing to get the prescriber, the medication, and the cancellation terms confirmed in writing before you pay. If you need a named prescriber or a clear medication price up front, call first and wait to book until those questions are answered.
