What is Pavlik Health + Wellness?
Pavlik Health + Wellness is a family-owned medical and chiropractic practice at 102 W. Pineloch Ave Suite 11 in Orlando, Florida. It began as Pavlik Chiropractic and was previously known as Access Medical Center Orlando. It describes itself as serving the Orlando area for over four decades. Glenn Pfaff, MD, is its medical director. Christina Pagan, PA-C, and Dina Rabaeeh, PA-C, are its physician assistants, and Christina Pagan leads the weight loss program. Its chiropractors are not listed as prescribers. Weekday hours begin at 8:00 AM, and Saturday visits are for chiropractic care only.
The medical weight loss program offers Lipo-Mino injectables, phentermine or GLP-1 treatments, depending on your exam and BMI. Semaglutide is the GLP-1 medication it names. Telehealth is offered, and injectables, PRP, men's health and women's health appear among its services. It does not name hormone therapy, testosterone or peptide therapy.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for weight loss, GLP-1 treatment or consultations. It also does not say whether medication is part of any program fee. Memberships, financing, HSA payment and cancellation terms are not mentioned.
On insurance, it says: "We accept most insurance providers. If you have specific questions regarding your coverage, please get in touch with us for additional information." It does not name the plans it accepts. Its weight loss FAQ says coverage depends on the plan and the type of visit, and that many plans cover weight related care when it is considered medically necessary.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with who signs the prescription. Ask whether Christina Pagan, PA-C, writes your prescription or whether another provider signs it. Then ask whether the monthly fee includes the medication. If it does not, ask what each medication costs. Ask whether the GLP-1 medication is brand-name or compounded. It says it prescribes FDA approved GLP-1 medications when clinically appropriate, so ask for the product name in writing.
Ask what the consultation, follow-up visits and lab work cost, and how cancellation works. If you are considering telehealth, ask which states it serves, since it does not name them. Ask which insurance plans it accepts for your visit. Its online payment buttons carry a Farmacia-Concepcion.com label, so ask who receives your payment. You can book by phone at (407) 423-4761 or through the online request form.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a medical weight loss program led by a PA-C, at a practice that also offers primary care, chiropractic and massage, and you are willing to get prices and medication terms in writing before you pay. It may not suit you if you are looking for hormone therapy, peptide therapy or published prices, since none of those are named among its services.
