About Symphony Healthcare

What is Symphony Healthcare?

Symphony Healthcare is an integrative medical clinic at 1329 Southeast 25th Loop, Suite 102, in Ocala, FL, in the Oakhurst Medical Plaza. It was founded in 2012 and is a self-pay practice offering in-office and telemedicine visits. Debora Donahue, APRN-BC leads the care and prescribes. The office is open Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm, and closed Friday through Sunday. The phone number is (352) 629-5939.

It lists seven services: Medical Weight Loss, bioidentical hormone therapy for women, testosterone replacement therapy for men, low-dose naltrexone therapy, vagus nerve stimulation therapy, GAINSWave for recovery, and allergy testing. Medical weight loss, women's hormone therapy and men's testosterone therapy are the programs patients ask about most. The weight loss program names semaglutide and tirzepatide, but the clinic does not prescribe either one. It offers a supplement-based alternative to GLP-1 injections and supports patients who are using or leaving them. Google reviews rate it 4.8 from 129 reviews. Patients come from Silver Springs Shores, Belleview, Marion Oaks and Dunnellon, and telemedicine follow-ups serve patients from The Villages.

This listing is for its Ocala office at 1329 SE 25th Loop Ste 102.

What does it cost?

It publishes three per-visit fees. The initial visit is $275 and covers a full history review, exam and lab orders. A routine follow-up is $125 for plan check-ins and adjustments. An extended visit for complex reviews is $200. The first step is a free 10-minute consultation. Lab panels are billed at self-pay rates through Access Lab.

The clinic does not take insurance. In its own words: "We do not participate with or bill insurance companies, so there are no surprise statements, just published prices and a plan you approve in advance."

It does not say whether visit fees include medication, or whether medication is part of a program's cost. It does not publish prices for hormone therapy or testosterone. It does not list membership or cancellation terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask whether the $275, $125 or $200 visit fee includes any medication, and what a full program costs per month once medication and labs are added. Ask for the price of testosterone or hormone therapy before your first visit, since none is published.

Ask which hormone preparations are used, whether they are brand-name or compounded, and who makes them. The pages describe pellets, creams, capsules and sublingual forms, but not their source. If you are coming off semaglutide or tirzepatide, ask what support costs and who manages your prescriptions.

Ask whether Debora Donahue, APRN-BC writes every prescription in your plan. Ask how telemedicine follow-ups are scheduled and billed, and how to cancel or change a visit.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you are paying cash for a visit-based program, want a fixed per-visit price, and can come to Ocala in person or are comfortable with telemedicine follow-ups. It is a weaker fit if you need medication bundled into one monthly price or want a clinic that prescribes semaglutide or tirzepatide. If those questions matter to you, get the answers first, and then it is worth a call.
