About Oasis Wellness & Recovery

What is Oasis Wellness & Recovery?

Oasis Wellness & Recovery is a clinic at 2801 SE 1st Ave, Ste 201, in Ocala, Florida. It was founded in 2019. Its main work is mental health and addiction recovery, and it also offers medically supervised weight loss, hormone therapy and peptide therapy. Eric Milbrandt, MD, MPH, founded the practice and is its medical director. Julie Illeck, MSN, NP-C, focuses on addiction medicine and MAT services. Thomas Jose, RN, BSN, is the clinical operations manager. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p, with Thursdays 10a to 4p. The phone number is (352) 325-5755.

The weight loss program offers Wegovy and Foundayo pills, or tirzepatide injections sold as Mounjaro or Zepbound. Hormone therapy includes TRT, HRT and enclomiphene. The clinic also offers Suboxone, ketamine therapy, IV vitamins and aesthetics. In its own words: "We start by understanding your health history and goals, with baseline labs done in-house to guide your treatment plan."

What does it cost?

The weight loss membership is $39 for the first month. After that, it renews at $149 per month, and the membership auto-renews. Medication is not included in that fee. Baseline in-house labs are $30. Consultations are free.

It says coverage varies by provider and plan, and that financing may be available. It does not say whether it accepts insurance. It does not publish prices for hormone therapy, peptide therapy or medication, and it does not publish its cancellation terms.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the weight loss prescriptions. It does not name a prescriber for that program.

Ask what a month of medication costs on top of the membership, and whether the medications are brand-name or compounded.

Ask what follow-up lab work costs beyond the $30 baseline, and how often it is done.

Ask how to cancel before you sign up, since the membership renews monthly and the cancellation terms are not published.

Ask whether it accepts your insurance and whether any visits can be by video. It does not say either.

Ask for hormone and peptide prices before your first visit, since none are published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want medical weight loss, hormone therapy or peptide therapy in Ocala, can pay the membership and medication yourself, and would also value a clinic that handles mental health and addiction care. If you need insurance billing or full price lists before you commit, ask those questions first.
