About Precision Health

What is Precision Health?

Precision Health is a practice at 440-A 3rd St in Neptune Beach, Florida, phone (904) 249-5999. It calls itself regenerative medicine, but most of what it describes is blood and biometric testing followed by nutrition and supplement plans, with a doctor going over the results. It is open Monday through Friday and closed on weekends. It serves patients from across the greater Jacksonville area, including Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra, San Marco, Riverside, and the Southside.

Its services are the TrueWellness program, which runs 12 months and includes testing and a doctor's review of the results; Foundations, a health assessment and nutrition plan; food sensitivity testing; genetics testing; My Precision Nutrients, supplement recommendations based on blood work; and Precision Weight Loss. It does not list hormone therapy or peptide therapy.

Precision Weight Loss begins with a Labcorp blood analysis and an IgG Food Explorer test, followed by natural medicines, food, and exercise strategies. The medical option comes after those. In its own words: "If weight loss goals are unacceptable with natural strategies, medical strategies are available with Dr. Ruterbusch." Dr. Ruterbusch is the only prescriber Precision Health names. It does not name any weight-loss medication, and it does not publish credentials for Dr. Ruterbusch.

What does it cost?

Precision Health does not publish prices, a consultation fee, or any monthly rate. Its listing gives a price range of $$ with no dollar figures. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not say whether any weight-loss prescription or medication is included in a program. TrueWellness runs 12 months, and no cancellation or refund terms are published. All patients receive professional discounts on Designs for Health and Thorne products, but no amounts are given.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes a weight-loss prescription and what credentials Dr. Ruterbusch holds. Ask whether the program fee includes medication or whether the drug is billed separately, and whether any medication is brand-name or compounded. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost beyond the initial testing. Ask whether the weight-loss medical visits can be done by video. Precision Health says TrueWellness is in person by design, but it does not say the same about its weight-loss care.

Ask whether it takes your insurance, and what you would pay without it. Finally, ask how the 12-month program can be cancelled and what is owed if you stop early.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a year-long plan built on blood work, food testing, and face-to-face follow-up with a doctor, and you are ready to get the full price before you commit. If you are mainly looking for a weight-loss prescription with a stated price and a named medication, call (904) 249-5999 first, because Precision Health does not describe either one yet.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
