About Silique Wellness

What is Silique Wellness?

Silique Wellness is a medical practice at 2218 W US Hwy 90, Suite 102, in Lake City, Florida. Silique Companies LLC operates it, and it calls itself a wellness practice. Direct primary care is the first service it lists, a model where patients contribute monthly. It also offers weight wellness, hormone therapy, integrative medicine, IV hydration, corporate partnerships for employers, and the Columbia Drip Bar. The practice was started by two sisters and says its work is rooted in faith.

Its weight wellness program is an eight-week program that includes an InBody body composition analysis with a detailed evaluation, meal plans, education and medication where appropriate. Hormone therapy is provided with Biote Hormone Therapy. In its own words: "We are here with the help of Biote Hormone Therapy to create personalized care."

The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Saturdays by appointment only and Sundays closed. It has a Google rating of 5 from 41 reviews, and Google lists it as a medical clinic.

What does it cost?

The one published price is for its weight wellness membership, called Empower, at $99 a month. That covers a monthly weight loss consultation, a monthly body analysis, a monthly prescription and a discount on vitamin weight loss injections. The price does not include medication. Apart from that membership, it does not publish prices for direct primary care, corporate partnerships, hormone therapy, IV hydration or the Columbia Drip Bar, and it does not publish a consultation fee. It does not say whether it accepts insurance, and it does not publish cancellation terms for the membership.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with who prescribes. It does not name a prescriber for any of its services, and it does not say whether the weight program is physician-supervised. Ask who writes the prescription and who oversees the program. Ask which medication comes with the $99 membership, whether it is brand-name or compounded, and what it costs each month, since the membership price leaves it out.

Then ask about the rest. Ask what lab work, follow-up visits and hormone therapy cost, and whether the Biote program has its own price. Ask whether it bills insurance and whether it offers telehealth visits, which it does not say. Ask how to cancel the membership and whether there is a commitment period. For the Columbia Drip Bar, ask the price and whether it operates from the same office, since no separate address is published.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live near Lake City, can get to a weekday daytime visit, and want a monthly membership or hormone therapy from an in-person practice. Get the prescriber, medication and cancellation answers in writing before you pay. It is worth calling if those answers are clear to you.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
