About Jupiter Weight Loss

What is Jupiter Weight Loss?

Jupiter Weight Loss is a medication weight loss clinic with a med spa side, at 250 W Indiantown Rd. Suite 103 in Jupiter, Florida 33458. Prescription weight loss is its main business. It also offers hormone replacement for men and women, a sermorelin peptide injection, wellness injections, IV vitamin therapy, aesthetics, and primary care. Its listed founding date is 2005.

The weight loss menu names semaglutide, tirzepatide, Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro, phentermine (Adipex), Contrave, Qsymia, Rybelsus and Foundayo. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and the office is closed on weekends. It serves patients from Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Tequesta, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, Hobe Sound, Abacoa, Stuart and surrounding Palm Beach County communities. It has 5 stars across 79 Google reviews.

It does not name the physician or provider who prescribes, and it gives no credentials for anyone.

What does it cost?

The in-office weight loss program is $75 to $125 a week. It includes seven days of injections, blood work, a medical evaluation, a monthly vitamin B12 injection, a nutrition review and an exercise plan. In its own words: "Visits Include Medications in Price unless Medications are requested to be sent to the Pharmacy." Blood work is $30 if insurance is not applied.

Take-home injections are $300 to $500 a month for 28 days, and the clinic does not say whether that price includes medication. The phentermine program is $180 a month with a 30-day prescription, and it includes blood work and an EKG at the first visit. Sick visits in primary care are $75 without insurance. It publishes no price for hormone therapy and no consultation fee. It says there is no contract, but it does not say whether insurance is accepted for weight loss visits.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription and what their credentials are, since no prescriber is named. Ask whether the $300 to $500 take-home price includes the medication. Ask whether the medications are brand-name products such as Wegovy or Zepbound, or compounded versions, and which one you would receive. Ask what the weekly price covers after the first month, including follow-up visits and lab work. Ask whether insurance is accepted for weight loss visits and whether there is a consultation fee. For hormone therapy, ask for the price before you book. Ask how to stop a program and whether ending it early carries a charge. Finally, ask which follow-ups can be done by telehealth and which need an office visit.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want in-person prescription weight loss care in Palm Beach County, you plan to pay cash, and you are comfortable confirming the prescriber, the medication and the total cost before you pay. If you need a named physician listed up front or a published price for hormone therapy, call the office first.
